油圧制御装置の圧力流体源から供給される流体は前記出
力軸内の油路から前記閉塞されたスリーブヨークの軸孔
に供給され、該スリーブヨークの軸孔の内周面に形成さ
れたスプラインと前記出力軸の外周に形成されたスプラ
インの噛合部を強制潤滑して、前記エクステンシヨンハ
ウジング内部において前記軸受部の低位置に設けられた
油溜めに流入する。

の最下部以上に流体のレベルを維持されていることによ
り、車輌の運転休止中においても自動変速機のエクステ
ンシヨンハウジングのスリーブヨークを支承する軸受の
軸受面には潤滑用の流体が接触しており、車輌の走行中
においては必要量以上の流体は油溜めからオーバフロー
せしめて所要の流体量を滞溜せしめることにより、軸受
の軸受面には常時安定した流体量を供給し、また車輌の
エンジンを始動せしめればスプラインの噛合部には直ち
に潤滑用の流体を供給するとともに、油溜めに滞溜して
いる流体を交換するので、前記スプラインの噛合部およ
び軸受の軸受面の摺動抵抗を長年にわたり低く維持し、
耐久性を高めるという、大なる効果を奏するものであ
る。
