果が得られなかった。またそこで効果を得るため殺虫剤
を高濃度で用いる事が行われているが、経済的に悪いば
かりでなく、安全性からも好ましくなかった。安全性で
はダニの発生し易い場所が、直接人体に触れる機会の多
い、寝具や、畳、カ−ペット等で毒性の低いものが望ま
しいが満足できるものがなかった。

るものである。イソプロピルメチルフェノ−ルは殺菌力

医薬品原料に用いられていたが一般の農業害虫や農業害
ダニ類に関してはほとんど効力がないため検討されてい
なかった。本発明者らは殺ダニ組成物について、屋内塵
性ダニを用いて種々検討していた中で、イソプロピルメ
チルフェノ−ルを含有する組成物が屋内塵性ダニに対し
て有効な結果を示し、特にヒョウヒダニ類に対して優れ
た効力を持つ事を見いだし、本発明の完成に至った。す
なわち本発明はイソプロピルメチルフェノールを有効成
分として含有する殺ダニ組成物である。本発明の殺ダニ
組成物は殺虫剤や殺ダニ剤の油剤、乳剤、フロアブル
剤、水和剤、粉剤、粒剤、防虫紙等の通常の製法でつく
る事が出来る。また本発明の殺ダニ組成物はイソプロピ
ルメチルフェノ−ル以外の成分として、公知の殺ダニ剤
・殺虫剤、忌避剤や抗菌剤等を必要に応じて添加する事
もできる。
