って板面とコア8の頂部との間に一定のギャップを形成
するとともに、コアブロック6との間で磁束の循環路を
形成するように組付けられている。12は、同じくフレー
ム1の筒状部4により位置決めされて上記ヨーク10上に
積層された磁性材よりなる円板状のサイドヨークで、第
2図に見られるように、この画とヨーク10の板面には駆
動板15が揺動し得る間隙を設けた12本の放射状スリット
11、13が形成され、さらに、これら放射状スリット13の
外端付近には横方向の溝14が十字状に形成されていて、
この横方向溝14の上下をサイドヨーク12の表裏面に添設
される有底円筒状ヨーク10と後述する樹脂製の押え板20
の各面によって取囲むことにより、この横方向溝14内を

り、プリントワイヤ駆動部材中に生ずる渦電流による損
失を押え、駆動部材の先端部を強度上許容し得る限度ま
で薄くし、かつ可能な限りこの部分をヘッドの中心部に
集めることによって、プリンタヘッドを大幅に小型化す
ることができると同時に、プリントワイヤを湾曲させる
ことなくこれらをノーズの先端に導くことを可能となし
て、ワイヤガイドとの摩擦を軽減し、かつ駆動部材先端
部の質量を可及的に少なくして、その応答特性を著しく
