Description
Claims (20)
- 1.正常な同期パルスを有するビデオ信号の帰線消去期間に付加されたコピー防 止信号の作用を無効にする方法であって、このコピー防止信号にはAGCパルス が少なくとも一つ付加されているものにおいて、 前記ビデオ信号の帰線消去期間を検出する工程と、付加されている少なくとも一 つのAGCパルスの位置を特定する工程と、 前記検出及び特定の両工程に応じてビデオ信号を変更することによりコピー防止 信号を変更してコピー防止機能の有効性を減少させる工程とを具備する方法。
- 2.前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程は帰線消去期間中に所定幅のパルスを生成す る工程と、生成したパルスと当該帰線消去期間のコピー防止信号とを結合してコ ピー防止信号のレベルをシフトさせることによりコピーの防止を無効にする工程 とを有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.前記コピー防止信号はビデオ・カセット・レコーダによるコピーを防止し、 前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程はビデオ・カセット・レコーダの内部特性がコピ ー防止信号の効果を自然に無効にするようにコピー防止信号を変更又は再生又は 再生成する工程を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 4.前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程はビデオ・カセット・レコーダの有効帯域幅 を越えてコピー防止信号の周波数を増大させる工程を有する請求項3に記載の方 法。
- 5.前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程はコピー防止信号のパルスの幅を狭めること によりコピー防止信号の有効周波数を増大させる工程を有する請求項4に記載の 方法。
- 6.前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程はコピー防止信号を効果的に時間圧縮するこ とにより有効周波数を増大させる工程を有する請求項4に記載の方法。
- 7.前記ビデオ信号を変更する工程はビデオ・カセット・レコーダの信号感度の 有効範囲を越えてコピー防止信号を減衰させる工程を有する請求項3に記載の方 法。
- 8.前記帰線消去期間は正常な視聴フィールドに続く垂直帰線消去期間である先 行する請求項のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 9.前記ビデオ信号はビデオ・カセットのビデオ・テープに予め記録されている ビデオ信号である請求項1乃至請求7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 10.ビデオ信号の帰線消去期間のコピー防止信号の作用を減少させる方法であ って、コピー防止信号はAGCパルスを少なくとも一つ含み、帰線消去期間は正 常な同期パルスを少なくとも一つ含むものにおいて、 記録媒体から入力ビデオ信号を受信する工程と、正常な同期信号を検出し、検出 した正常な同期信号に基づいてコピー防止信号の位置を特定する工程と、前記検 出工程に応じてコピー防止無効信号を発生する工程と、 前記入力ビデオ信号とコピー防止無効信号とを結合した出力ビデオ信号を伝送す る工程とを具備する方法。
- 11.ビデオ信号の帰線消去期間のコピー防止信号の作用を減少させる方法であ って、コピー防止信号は疑似同期パルスを少なくとも一つと付加されたAGCパ ルスとを含み、帰線消去期間は正常な同期パルスを少なくとも一つ含むものにお いて、 記録媒体から入力ビデオ信号を受信する工程と、垂直同期信号を検出し、検出し た垂直同期信号に基づいてコピー防止信号の位置を特定する工程と、前記検出工 程に応じてコピー防止無効信号を発生する工程と、 前記入力ビデオ信号とコピー防止無効信号の表示に従って出力ビデオ信号を伝送 する工程とを具備する方法。
- 12.ビデオ信号のコピー防止信号の作用を無効にする装置であって、コピー防 止信号にはAGCパルスが少なくとも一つ付加されているものにおいて、 ビデオ信号を表す入力信号を受信する受信手段と、前記受信手段に接続されコピ ー防止信号を検出する検出手段と、 前記検出手段に応じて無効信号を生成する信号無効手段と、前記入力ビデオ信号 及び無効信号の表示に従って出力ビデオ信号を伝送する出力手段とを具備する装 置。
- 13.前記信号無効手段はレベル・シフトされている出力ビデオ信号を伝送する レベル・シフト手段を有する請求項12に記載の装置。
- 14.前記信号無効手段は前記コピー防止信号の有効周波数を増大させる手段を 有する請求項12に記載の装置。
- 15.前記信号無効手段は前記コピー防止信号を減衰する手段を有する請求項1 2に記載の装置。
- 16.前記ビデオ信号はビデオ・テープに予め記録されているビデオ信号である 請求項12乃至請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 17.ビデオ信号の垂直帰線消去期間に含まれているコピー防止信号の作用を無 効にする装置であって、コピー防止信号には付加された疑似同期信号が少なくと も一つと付加されたAGCパルスが一つ含まれていて、ビデオ信号を表す入力信 号を記録媒体から受信する受信手段と、 前記受信手段に接続されコピー防止信号が含まれている垂直帰線消去期間を検出 する検出手段と、コピー防止信号の少なくとも一部が生じている間に前記検出手 段に応じて無効信号を生成する信号無効手段と、前記入力ビデオ信号及び無効信 号の表示に従って出力ビデオ信号を伝送する出力手段とを具備する装置。
- 18.前記検出手段はビデオ信号の垂直帰線消去期間を検出する同期分離器を有 し、前記無効手段は垂直帰線消去期間の一部の間にレベル・シフト・パルスを生 成する手段を有し、前記出力手段はレベル・シフト・パルスと入力ビデオ信号の 表示とを結合してコピー防止信号が無効にされている出力ビデオ信号を伝送する 手段を有する請求項17に記載の装置。
- 19.前記検出手段は垂直帰線消去期間を残りのビデオ信号から分離する同期分 離器を有し、前記無効手段はコピー防止信号の有効周波数を増大させて変更信号 を発生する手段を有し、前記出力手段は入力ビデオ信号の表示と変更信号とを伝 送する手段を有する請求項17に記載の装置。
- 20.前記検出手段は垂直帰線消去期間を残りのビデオ信号から分離する同期分 離器を有し、前記無効手段はコピー防止信号の少なくとも一部を減衰させ減衰コ ピー防止信号を生成する手段を有し、前記出力手段は入力ビデオ信号の表示及び 減衰コピー防止信号を伝送しコピー防止信号が無効にされている出力ビデオ信号 を伝送する手段を有する請求項17に記載の装置。
