Description
Claims (23)
- 1.非侵入型モニタ装置とともに使用され、使用者の指を受け入れ光源とともに 使用されるものであり、指を受け入れられる寸法の細長い溝を含む基台を備えて いて、この細長い溝は指を受け入れる開口と2つの側面を有し一方の側面には光 通路入口が設けられ他方の側面には光通路出口が設けられており、光通路入口と 光通路出口は光通路入口を通過した光の少なくとも幾つかが光通路出口で受け入 れられるように寸法及び位置が決定されていて、上記の細長い溝は上記の細長い 溝中に適切に挿入された指が上記光通路入口と上記光通路出口の間に位置してい る上記細長い溝の領域を満たすよう形作られていて、光源からの光は上記光通路 入口から上記光通路出口へと光通路を形成し、指が上記の細長い溝中に適切に配 置されたことを検出する検出手段を伴っている、ことを特徴とする指受け装置。
- 2.請求項1に記載の指受け装置においては、上記細長い溝の領域が、上記光通 路入口と、上記光通路出口と、上記光通路入口と上記光通路出口の間に延出して いる上記細長い溝の内表面と、により規定されている。
- 3.請求項2に記載の指受け装置は、参照測定が上記非侵入型モニタ装置を使用 して行われた時に上記光源の光の強度を減少させる手段をさらに備えている。
- 4.請求項1に記載の指受け装置においては、上記細長い溝は第1の側面と第2 の側面に向かう滑らかに湾曲した底を伴った横断面形状を有していて、この第1 の側面は急であってその中に上記光通路入口が位置していて、上記第2の側面は 上記第1の側面に比べるとなだらかであってその中に上記光通路出口が位置して いる。
- 5.請求項4に記載の指受け装置は、上記光源からの光が上記光通路を通過する 時に指に対する光学的な通路を移動させる手段をさらに備えている。
- 6.請求項1に記載の指受け装置は、指が上記細長い溝中に挿入された時に指を 適切な位置へと優しく強制する圧力手段をさらに備えていて、上記圧力手段の圧 力は指の中の血液の流れを遅くするが停止はさせず、また血液を上記光通路入口 と上記光通路出口の近傍に集中させる。
- 7.請求項5に記載の指受け装置においては、指に対して光学的な通路を移動さ せる上記手段が上記光源と指との間に設けられた可動レンズである。
- 8.請求項3に記載の指受け装置においては、上記レンズはモータに連結された 腕部の上に設けられ、上記腕部は可動であって上記非侵入型モニタ装置が動作さ れた時に指に対して上記レンズを相対的に移動させる。
- 9.請求項8に記載の指受け装置においては、光の強度を減少させる上記手段が 上記光源と上記非侵入型モニタ装置との間に設けられたフィルターである。
- 10.請求項9に記載の指受け装置においては、上記フィルターが上記レンズの 如く上記腕部に設けられているが上記レンズからは分離されていて、その結果と して上記レンズは上記フィルターが光の強度を減少させる位置に配置されていな い時に上記光源と上記フィルターとの間に配置され、また上記フィルターは上記 レンズが上記光源と指の間に配置されていない時に指受け装置から上記光の強度 を減少させるよう配置されている。
- 11.請求項1に記載の指受け装置においては、上記検知手段が指が上記細長い 溝中に適切に位置決めされた時に上記非侵入型モニタ装置を自動的に動作させる よう連結されている。
- 12.請求項1に記載の指受け装置は、上記細長い溝の外側に配置されて使用者 の手を支持し、これによって上記非侵入型モニタ装置の動作中における上記手の 指の動きを最小にする支持部材をさらに備えている。
- 13.請求項3に記載の指受け装置においては、光の強度を減少させる手段が光 の通路中に配置されたフィルタである。
- 14.請求項3に記載の指受け装置においては、光の強度を減少させる手段が反 射手段であり、これによって光の幾分かをモニタ出来る。
- 15.請求項3に記載の指受け装置においては、光の強度を減少させる手段は測 定が行われる時における積分時間の減少である。
- 16.請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の指受け装置においては、上記細長 い溝が水平線から略30度の角度に配置されている。
- 17.請求項14に記載の指受け装置においては、上記反射手段が光源からの光 の幾分かを指受け装置の回りに反射することにより上記非侵入型モニタ装置によ り受け取られる光の量を強度において減少させる一連の反射装置である。
- 18.請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の指受け装置は、上記細長い溝中に 摺動自在に設けられたプランジャをさらに備えていて、このプランジャは指が上 記開口中に適切に配置され指がプランジャに挿入された時に指により上記開口か ら遠ざかるよう押されて上記検知手段を動作させる。
- 19.請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の指受け装置では、上記圧力手段が ねじりばねにより負荷されて上記細長い溝に向かい付勢され操作部材上に回転自 在に設けられたローラであり、上記ローラは指が挿入されて指が上記細長い溝中 に配置されている時に指に接触するよう配置されている。
- 20.請求項1に記載の指受け装置においては、上記細長い溝に向かう上記光入 口が円形状を有していて、上記細長い溝からの上記光出口が細長い形状を形状を している。
- 21.請求項20に記載の指受け装置においては、上記光入口が上記基台の中で 上記細長い溝に向かい収斂されていて、上記光出口は上記基台の中で上記細長い 溝から一定の寸法を有している。
- 22.請求項21に記載の指受け装置においては、上記光入口が3段階に収斂さ れていて、上記光入口の側壁は相互に平行である。
- 23.請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の指受け装置では、使用者の指は指 の骨を有していて、上記細長い溝は上記光通路入口と上記光通路出口との間を延 出している光通路を指の骨の下方に配置させるよう形が決められている。
