Claims (6)
- 1.1つまたは複数のラジオ・プログラムに関する情報を含むデータおよび/ま たは他のデータのデジタル符号化された列を複数のRF搬送波に配分して放送す る方法であって; 特徴として、 (イ)上記複数のRF搬送波の伝送には、既にFMサービスによって占有されて いる周波数帯が使用され、上記各FMサービスは同一地区で放送するFMサービ スに対し充分な周波数間隔を維持すると共に周波数が非常に近接している他のF Mサービスに対しては上記より周波数間隔は小さいが充分に位置的に離れている ものであり、 (ロ)上記データ列によって変調された複数のRF搬送波は、同一地区にある周 波数が近接した2つのFMサービスの間の周波数ギャップ内か、1つのFMサー ビスの定格周波数占有帯は残してその両側にあって未占有の周波数範囲内で、伝 送され、 (ハ)周波数が隣接するFMサービスまたは中央にあるFMサービスのRF搬送 波のレベルに比べて、上記複数のRF搬送波の総合レベルは、1つまたはそれ以 上の上記FMサービスのFM受信のための信号対ノイズ比という面からは充分に 低く、また上記複数のRF搬送波の伝送を意図している周波数範囲または周波数 ギヤップに入る周波数をもつ位置的に離れたFMサービスに対してはノイズ不感 性の点から充分に高く、選定され、(ニ)RF搬送波を変調するデータ列は、周 波数が隣接する1つたはそれ以上のFMサービスまたは中央にある1つまたはそ れ以上のFMサービスに対して充分なノイズ不感性を呈することに関して高いエ ラー防御手段が講じられている、 放送方法。
- 2.請求項1に記載の放送方法であって、他のRF搬送波に比べて、1つまたは それ以上のFMサービスによる妨害をより多量に受けるRF搬送波によって伝送 されるデータ列の成分は高皮にエラー防御対策が講じられている、放送方法。
- 3.請求項1または2に記載の放送方法であって、周波数が隣接しているFMサ ービスまたは中央にあるFMサービスのRF搬送波の伝送出力が、そのRF搬送 波の周波数偏移が大きければその周波数偏移の関数として、伝送出力が低減され るように、制御されることを特徴とする放送方法。
- 4.複数のRF搬送波がFMサービスの両側で伝送される形で、請求項1乃至3 のいずれかに記載の方法に従って伝送されたデータ列を受信する方法であって、 各FMサービスの周波数位置に対応した阻止帯域を有するノッチ・フィルタを使 用して、複数のRF搬送波を濾波抽出することを特徴とする、データ列の受信方 法。
- 5.複数のRF搬送波が周波数の隣接した2つのFMサービス相互間の周波数ギ ャップにおいて伝送される形で請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の方法に従って 伝送されたデータ列を受信する方法であって、通過帯域が、上記周波数ギヤップ よりも狭く、かつ少なくとも複数のRF搬送波が占める周波数範囲と同じ広さで ある帯域通過フィルタを使用して、複数のRF搬送波を濾波抽出することを特徴 とする、データ列の受信方法。
- 6.請求項4または5に記載の受信方法であって、1つまたはそれ以上のFMサ ービス中に含まれているノイズ成分が、この1つまたはそれ以上のFMサービス のFM信号を検査後、データ列が処理されるとき、等化アルゴリズムを利用して 上記データ列中で実質的に抑圧されること、を特徴とする、受信方法。
