Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a new cosmetic comprising a natural substance which is not liable to affect human bodies and which can give healthy skins. CONSTITUTION:The cosmetic comprises natural coral sand. Since showing a weak alkaline property, the coral sand has an action to neutralize weakly acidic skins. Since being porous, the coral sand further has an action to absorb and volatilize skin fats, sweat, etc. Thereby, the cosmetic is suitable for forming healthy skins.

EXAMPLES The present inventors collected natural coral sand, washed it to remove salt, and then heat-sterilized and dried it at about 80 to about 150 degrees Celsius.
