Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a molded product for electric decoration of any cubic form where a pattern is drawn. CONSTITUTION:A transfer layer 12 consisting of a peel-off layer, a pictorial pattern layer and an adhesive layer is formed on a base film 11 consisting of polyethyleneterephthalate to obtain a transfer film 1. The transfer film 1 is sandwiched between the halves of a die for forming an expansion plate with a folding part and an engagement part and, molten light-permeable molding resin is injected into the die 3 to obtain the expansion plate and at the same time, the transfer layer 12 is bondeel to the surface of the expansion plate. Next, the base film 11 is peeled off the surface of the expansion plate. Finally, the engagement parts of the expansion plate with the adhered transfer layer 12 are fitted into each other to obtain a box.

However, in (1),
Due to the printability of the design, it is limited to molded products with a surface shape such as a flat surface or a flat curved surface, so it cannot be applied to any decorative molded product with a three-dimensional shape. Further, a pattern printing process and a transfer process are required in a process different from the molding process of the molded product, resulting in poor production efficiency.
Further, since the top surface, bottom surface, side surface, front surface, etc. of the molded product are separately formed by a printing machine or a transfer machine, it is not possible to accurately register the design and it takes time and labor.

In the case of (2), a special milky white resin sheet must be prepared, and a molding step for the molded product, a printing step for the resin sheet, and a winding step are required.
Production efficiency is poor. Also, if a single resin sheet is wrapped around the top, bottom, body, etc., the resin sheet will be wrinkled and a pattern cannot be formed neatly.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. First, a method of manufacturing a molded article for electrical decoration using the transfer film 1 will be described. The transfer film 1 is formed by forming a transfer layer 12 having a pattern layer 13 on each side of a three-dimensional product desired to be a display on a base film 11. The base film 11 may be one that is usually used as the base film of the transfer film 1.
It is recommended to use a plastic film such as polyethylene terephthalate. As the transfer layer 12, there is one in which a release layer, a pattern layer 13, an adhesive layer and the like are sequentially formed from the base film 1 side. The peeling layer is for improving the peelability between the base film and the transfer layer 12 and for protecting the pattern layer 13, and is formed on the entire surface of the base film 1 by a usual forming method such as printing. The pattern layer 13 is on the surface of the development plate,
To form patterns, paintings, logos, letters, symbols, etc.
It is formed by a usual forming method such as printing. Pattern layer 13
May have a metal layer formed by vacuum vapor deposition. The adhesive layer is for adhering the transfer layer 12 to the surface of the expansion plate at the same time as forming the expansion plate, and uses a resin of the same type as the resin forming the expansion plate 2 by a normal forming method such as printing. Alternatively, it is partially formed.

When the mold 3 is closed, the mold 3 has a portion 31 for forming a folded portion and a portion 3 for forming a fitting portion inside the mold.
A cavity 30 for forming a spread plate composed of 2 is formed, and the molding resin 20 is injected from the injection port 34 into the cavity 30 and filled to form the molding resin 20.
Is an arbitrary expansion plate shape (for example, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 9, FIG.
0, FIG. 11). When the surface of the mold 3 to which the transfer film 1 is closely attached has large unevenness, it can be brought into close contact with the unevenness by using a suction device or a heating device (not shown).

Next, the molten translucent molding resin 20 is injected into the mold to mold the expansion plate 2 having an arbitrary three-dimensional shape, and at the same time, the transfer layer 12 is adhered to the surface of the expansion plate (see FIG. 2). . The molding resin 20 is a resin that exhibits translucency and light guiding properties after molding, and has a high refractive index such as an acrylic resin, a polyester resin, or a polycarbonate resin and a high internal reflectance, or these resins. A resin added with a fluorescent pigment or the like may be used.

In the present invention, there is a method for producing a molded article for electrical decoration using the insert film 14. In the method using the insert film 14, the expansion plate 2 is molded and box-formed in the same manner as when the transfer film 11 is used, but the base film 11 of the insert film 14 is the expansion plate 2 after the expansion plate 2 is formed. 2 is not peeled off from the surface. The insert film 14 may be cut into a required shape in advance before being sandwiched in the mold 3, or may be trimmed at the same time as being sandwiched in the mold 3. Insert film 1
4 is adhered to the spreading plate 2 together with the base film 11 and covers the folding portion 21, so that the folding portion 21 can be protected.

[Function] A pattern on each side of the display product is formed on one transfer film or insert film,
Simultaneously with the molding of the expansion plate, the design is adhered to the molded product to form a box, which simplifies the process. Further, it is not necessary to position the transfer film or the insert film on each surface of the three-dimensional molded product. Further, since the fitting portion can be formed at the end edge portion of the expansion plate at the same time when the expansion plate is formed, the end edge portions can be easily connected to each other, which facilitates box making.
