(問題点を解決するための手段) すなわち、本考案の容器はABS樹脂、ポリプロピレン等
の合成樹脂からなる容器の全表面にニッケル又は銅等の
化学メッキ可能な金属の化学メッキ層2を設け、該メッ
キ層上に、或は更に他のメッキ層3を介して鉄−ニッケ
ル系合金の電気メッキ層4を設けたことからなるフロッ
ピーディスク用保管用容器であって、化学メッキ層の厚
さは0.1〜1.0μm程度であり、また、鉄−ニッケル系合
金の電気メッキされる層の厚さとしては1.0〜5.0μm程
度である。そして、これらのメッキ層は常法により形成
される。本考案で使用する鉄−ニッケル系合金とは磁気
遮蔽性の作用を呈する鉄−ニッケル系合金であればよ
く、通常鉄成分を10〜50%含有する合金である。しかし
て、本考案においては合成樹脂製容器の全表面あるいは
外面もしくは内面のどちらか一方の面に予めパルス系電
磁波に対して遮蔽効果のあるニッケル又は銅の化学メッ
キ層を形成することにより、合成樹脂板上に直接化学メ
ッキを施すことができない電磁波遮蔽の良好な鉄−ニッ
ケル系合金を電気メッキ層として該合金層を形成するこ
とができるのであり、これにより化学メッキ層の有する
遮蔽効果と鉄−ニッケル系合金層の有する磁気遮蔽効果
との相剰効果を奏する。又、化学メッキ層上に銅の電気
メッキ層を介して鉄−ニッケル系合金からなるメッキ層
を形成したものは化学メッキ層が薄くても同様に極めて
大なる電磁波遮蔽効果が得られるのである。

シールド測定を行った結果を第3図に示す。この保管箱
はABS樹脂を用いて形成した箱体の表面に銅メッキ層0.1
μを化学メッキで形成した後鉄−ニッケル(鉄含有率20
重量%)を電気メッキにより厚さ4μに析出させたもの
で、この測定結果は第3図より0〜1,000MHzにおいて20
〜30dBの遮蔽効果を示し、特に500MHzでは50dB以上の遮
蔽効果を示し、電磁波の99.99%以上の遮蔽効果を示し
ている。

して遮蔽効果を有するので、これら二層により外界から
の種々の電磁波からフロッピーディスクを保護すること
ができ、更に従来の品より軽量なため持ち運び等に便利
な保管箱としての効果を奏するものである。
