Abstract

PURPOSE:To economically monitor an alarm caused by a fault at a remote terminal station without newly performing capital investment by transferring the alarm between a main station and the terminal station through a main signal line in the case of transmission between two points in a small scale network. CONSTITUTION:A PCM signal sent from the main station is converted into a unipolar signal by a reception side bipolar/unipolar converting circuit 1, detected by a high-order group alarm (AIS) detection circuit 2 and inputted to a frame synchronizing circuit 3. In this case, the frame synchronism of the transmission line is taken, an error check circuit 4 and a counter station alarm detection circuit 5 detect transmission line error and step out of synchronism on the main station side, and the signal is separated into (n) channels by a separating circuit 6. On the transmission side, the PCM signals of (n) channels are multiplexed by a multiplexing circuit 7, an OR circuit 8 in a lump sends step out of cynchronization information, transmission line error information and various alarms to an inserting circuit and sends them to the transmission side. Next, the signal is passed through an inserting circuit 10, converted into a bipolar signal by a converting circuit 11 and sent to the main station.

2. Description of the Related Art In the conventional alarm transfer system of this type, individual alarms from a transmission device are collected in an alarm collection device, and an alarm is generated and restored in a main station (monitoring station) by a signal line different from the transmission line. Notifying. Even in small-scale networks, monitoring information is considered important, and notification of collection of monitoring information such as alarms is indispensable along with main signal transmission. A conventional PCM terminal device generally performs main signal transmission, and also displays and outputs alarm information by turning contacts on and off. The collection of the alarm information is performed by a device other than the PCM terminal station device, and the information transmission is also transmitted by another signal line.

The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram of an embodiment of the present invention. The PCM signal sent from the main station is the bipolar / receiver side.
It is converted into a unipolar signal by the unipolar (B / U) conversion circuit 1, detected by the upper group alarm (AIS) detection circuit 2 and then input to the frame synchronization circuit 3. Here, the transmission path is frame-synchronized, the transmission path error and SEND (out of synchronization with the main station) are detected by the error check circuit 4 and the station alarm (SEND) detection circuit 5, and then by the PCM signal separation circuit 6. It is separated into n channels. On the other hand, on the transmitting side, after the n-channel PCM signal is multiplexed by the PCM signal multiplexing circuit 7, the OR circuit 8 for collective alarm generation detects the out-of-synchronization information detected by the frame synchronizing circuit 3 on the receiving side. And the transmission path error information detected by the error check circuit 4, and m detected by the in-device monitoring.
Various types of alarms are sent to the game alarm (SEND) insertion circuit 9 at once, inserted into the game alarm bit in the signal frame, and transmitted to the transmitting side. Then, after passing through the error check code insertion circuit 10, a unipolar / bipolar (U / B) conversion circuit 11 converts the signal into a bipolar signal,
Send to main station. Here, since AIS and SEND detected by the terminal station are not failures of the terminal station itself, they are not transmitted as a collective alarm. In addition, all batch alarms are set to non-holding operation, and when the alarm is restored, the batch alarm transmission is stopped. As a result, the function of the SEND alarm (out-of-synchronization in the opposite device) in the conventional system can be expanded, and when some trouble occurs in the opposite device, it is possible to notify the main station of the alarm information indicating the failure. The function expansion of this embodiment is
This can be realized by installing this function only in the terminal station, without depending on the device on the main station side.

As described above, according to the present invention,
The SEND bit on the transmission path signal frame can be used to notify that some trouble has occurred in the terminal station at the main station, and the alarm collection device and the alarm transfer line at the terminal station of the small network are not installed. Already
The initial investment in the local system can be reduced, and the construction of the local network can be easily promoted.
