Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep a load of packed objects from collapsing during transportation and suitably cope with the packing in transportation of many different kinds of objects with an effect to reduce the cost by fitting together a mortise and tenon by interposing a connecting plate in an arrangement of a cushioning material for packing. CONSTITUTION:An assembly of a cushioning material for packing is formed by passing tenons 16-18 on each of two pieces of the cushioning material for packing 12, 12 through joint holes 23-25 and 26-28 formed at two ends in a connecting plate 22. Next, an object for packing is mounted with each of its four bottom corners upon a middle board 15 of one of the cushioning materials 12 and with the troughs of two assemblies of the cushioning material set mutually opposite and the assemblies of the cushioning material are pressed against the object for packing to form their combination. Such combinations are laid one above another in a pile. In piling them up the tenons 16-18 projecting from a combination laid under are fitted into corresponding mortises 19-21 formed in the lower part of the cushioning material 12 of the combination laid above. Finally the combinations laid in a pile are roped up and down at the front and rear ends.

2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing an example of a conventional cushioning packaging material disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 56-40703, and FIG. 7 is a longitudinal sectional view thereof. Reference numeral 1 denotes a cushioning packaging material that supports a corner portion of a flat-shaped packaged object such as a lighting fixture, and is a first side wall 2 and a second side wall which are formed of expanded polystyrene and are L-shaped orthogonal to each other. 3 and upper and lower plates 4 and 5 in the shape of a right triangle provided above and below the same. The side wall 2, 3 and the upper plate 4 and the lower plate 5 form the space 6, the space inlet 6a, and the inner space 6 in the space.
b is formed, and an upper plate step portion 7 and a lower plate step portion 8 are formed on the inner side 6b side in the space in the direction of bringing the upper plate 4 and the lower plate 5 closer to each other, and an inclined upper plate step portion 9 and It is formed via the lower plate step portion 10.

Next, the operation of the cushioning packaging material constructed as described above will be described with reference to FIG. First, the corners of the packaged object 11 are inserted into the space 6 from the space inlet 6a side of the space 6 of the cushioning packaging material 1. In this way, the corners of the packaged body 11 are guided by the sloped upper plate step 9 and lower plate step 10 to push the upper plate step 7 and the lower plate step 8 up and down to open the space. It is inserted into the inner part 6b. Further, the other corners of the packaged body 11 are also inserted into the space of another cushioning packaging material. Next, the other cushioning packaging materials 1a and 1b are applied to the respective corners of the objects to be packaged 11a and 11b in the same manner as above, and then,
The articles to be packaged 11, 11a and 11b are stacked and fixed together by ropes or the like so as to overlap in the vertical direction, and then the articles to be packaged 11, 11a and 11b are collectively transported.

According to the conventional cushioning wrapping material constructed as described above, there is a risk that the packaged article may be displaced due to a slight impact during cargo handling or transportation, causing collapse of the article. There is. Further, it is necessary to manufacture the cushioning wrapping material for the products to be packaged with different thicknesses according to the size of each product, which is costly. Further, since the cushioning wrapping material is made of foamed styrene, static electricity is liable to be generated on the surface and dust is likely to adhere to the cushioning wrapping material. In addition, it has weak strength, is easily broken, and has a problem in disposal after use, which is insufficient to protect the end of a heavy packaged object such as a lighting fixture.

The operation of the present invention configured as above will be described. First, the two cushion packaging materials 12, 25 are provided in the respective engaging hole portions 23-25 and 26-28 provided at both ends of the connecting plate 22.
The twelve first to third engaging protrusions 16 to 18 are fitted to form the cushioning packaging material assembly 29 shown in FIG. 3. Next, FIG.
As shown in FIG. 7, the concave sides of the two cushioning packaging material assemblies 29 are arranged so as to face each other, and the concave sides are applied to both ends of the packaged body 30 in the longitudinal direction to form a combination 31. At this time, the four corners of the bottom surface of the packaged body 30 are placed on the intermediate plate 15 of the cushioning packaging material 12, and the cushioning packaging material assemblies 29, 29 are pressed in the direction of the packaged object 30 to combine them. A plurality of combination bodies 31 thus formed are further prepared, and these are sequentially stacked in the upward direction as shown in FIG. At this time, each of the first to third engaging projections 16 to 18 projecting upward from the respective cushioning packaging material assemblies 29, 29 of the combination body 31 located below is arranged in the combination body 31 located above. Each cushion packaging material assembly 2
First to third engaging recesses 19 provided below the reference numerals 9 and 29.
Fit into each of ~ 21. Next, the ropes 32 are hooked in the vertical direction at both ends of the plurality of laminated combined bodies 31. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, when the rope 32 is hung between the engaging protrusions (for example, 17, 18, 16, 18),
The rope 32 does not shift laterally and come off. It should be noted that if the connection plate 22 is manufactured in a plurality of types with different lengths in the longitudinal direction (lengths in the direction connecting the third engagement hole 25 and the sixth engagement hole 28), it is possible to produce The case where the width of the package 30 is different can be dealt with. After the combination body 31 is collectively fixed and the packaged body 30 is carried in as described above, the cushioning packaging material assembly 29 which is the remaining material is separated into the cushioning packaging material 12 and the connection plate 22, and is made compact and recovered. Store.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, since the engaging convex portion and the engaging concave portion provided on the cushioning packaging material are fitted through the connecting plate, it is possible to carry out during cargo handling or transportation. It is possible to prevent the collapse of the load without the cushioning packaging material assembly shifting or coming off due to the generated shock or vibration. Further, even when the width dimension of the packaged body is different, the width dimension difference of the flat plate body can be dealt with by changing the dimension of the connection plate in the longitudinal direction in accordance with the width dimension of the packaged body.

Further, since the cushioning wrapping material is made of polypropylene, it has a superior cushioning property as compared with the cushioning material made of foamed styrene or the like. Therefore, the packaged article is not damaged by shock or vibration during transportation, and is also protected from static electricity. Dust adhesion is prevented. Furthermore, after the combination is used, the connection plate and the cushioning packaging material of the cushioning packaging material assembly can be individually separated, so that they can be collected compactly and reused.
