来の技術においては次のような欠点がある。即ち、例え
ばワイヤ放電加工機の循環水中に懸濁された磁性粒子の
ように粒径が細かく磁性が微弱な磁性粒子を吸引し捕捉
するためにはフィルタメディア充填層内の処理液流速を
低くする必要があり、他方、フィルタメディアに捕捉さ
れた磁性粒子を取除く際の洗浄液流速には最低限度があ
ってその流速は前記処理液流速の十倍程度にする必要が
ある。そして、処理液と洗浄液の流れ方向が同じで同一
断面積を通るため、処埋液流量に比べて洗浄液流量が十
倍程度になって洗浄装置が大規模になり不都合である。
