Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a ski plate which is lightweight, possesses the excellent operation performance, and is advantageously portable, by using a honeycomb structure which is obtained by arranging a number of cores made of the resin containing fibers in the longitudinal direction, and nipping them by the similar resin plates from the upper and lower and fixing, as core member. CONSTITUTION:A core body 13 is formed by winding carbon fiber fabric on a core member rod having a circular section, impregnating the carbon fiber fabric a with resin, and carrying out pressing by applying pressure, and similarly a plate 15 is formed to a flat surface form by impregnating the carbon fiber fabric with the resin and carrying out pressing by applying a pressure. A number of cores 13 are arranged continuously in the longitudinal direction, and the plate 15 has each adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer surface is nipped in a sandwhich form from the upper lower in contact with the core 13, and the adhesive is hardened by keeping this state for a prescribed time, and a fiber containing honeycomb structure member is obtained. Accordingly, this member is worked to a prescribed shape, and then used as a core member 9, and a ski plate 1 having the honeycomb structure can be obtained.

[Function] As a resin raw material containing fibers in advance, a hollow member is formed into a core by injection molding or a drawing method, or a fiber cloth is wound around a core material and then impregnated with a resin to be solidified. This creates a tubular core. A honeycomb structure can be easily made by arranging a large number of such vertically arranged cores adjacent to each other and sandwiching and sandwiching the same resin plates from above and below in a sandwich shape. By adopting this fiber-containing honeycomb structure as the core material, the ski has sufficient strength and is lightweight.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of one ski 1 viewed from the front. FIG. 2 is an enlarged partial sectional view of a II portion of FIG. 1 showing a multilayer structure. The cross section of the ski 1 also has several layers as in the prior art. That is, the bottom material 3 is made of synthetic resin for forming a sliding surface with low friction. Edge metals 5 are fitted to both ends of the bottom material 3. Above these, a torsion resistant material 7 and a core material 9 are provided as strength members. The twisting member 7 has a box-shaped cross section and is called a torsion box. In this torsion resistant material 7, a core material 9 made of a fiber-containing honeycomb structure material according to this embodiment is arranged. Further, a surface material 11 that is resistant to scratches is provided on these. The surface material 11 has a downward substantially U-shape, and covers the upper surface and the side surface. The surface material 11 may be omitted.

The fiber-containing honeycomb structure is shown in FIG.
It has the structure shown in FIG. 1 and is manufactured as follows, that is, it is composed of a large number of short cylindrical cores 13 and plates 15. The core 13 is formed by winding a carbon fiber woven fabric around a core rod having a circular cross section, impregnating it with a resin, and then applying pressure to press it. Similarly, the plate 15 is formed into a flat surface by impregnating a carbon fiber woven fabric with a resin and pressing it with pressure. The cores 13 are arranged vertically, and a large number of them are arranged adjacent to each other. Plate 15
Each is provided with an adhesive layer. Then, the adhesive layer surface is brought into contact with the core 13 and sandwiched from above and below in a sandwich shape. At this time, when the adhesive has sufficient fluidity, the surface tension causes a gap between the plate 15 and the core 13,
Alternatively, it penetrates into the gap between the cores 13. In this state, the adhesive is hardened by elapse of a predetermined time, and a fiber-containing honeycomb structure material is obtained.

This material is processed into a predetermined shape and used as the core material 9. In this process, the thickness of the ski 1 changes depending on the longitudinal direction (see FIG. 1), so the height of the core 13 is gradually changed or the core shape is inclined, that is, a cylinder. Instead, the curved surface is realized by combining the cores of the truncated cone. Also, the upper end of each core is cut diagonally. The ski 1 has to change its elasticity and rigidity at each part in the longitudinal direction so that the whole ski 1 has a predetermined function. For example, the runout of the ski tip should not be too great.
The core material 9 using the fiber-containing honeycomb structure material of this embodiment can sufficiently fulfill this function. That is, the diameter, the wall thickness, and the density of the core 13 can be gradually changed along the longitudinal direction to change the elasticity and the rigidity to arbitrary values. As a result, for example, the tip of the ski 1 can have an optimum flexibility, and it is possible to prevent the runout to a minimum.

In the above embodiments, the honeycomb structure is made by the cylindrical core 13, but in other embodiments, a polygonal cylinder, that is, a hexagonal cylinder, a pentagonal cylinder, a square cylinder, a triangular cylinder,
Alternatively, it is of course possible to make a honeycomb structure with a truncated cone or a truncated pyramid. Further, although the core 13 and the plate 15 are fixed to each other by the adhesive, in other embodiments, it is possible to melt a part of the resins and weld them to each other, and then cool and fix them. In addition to carbon, resin such as Kevlar or natural fiber such as hemp can be used as the fiber. The fiber cloth is not limited to the woven cloth and may be a non-woven cloth.
