Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a picture easy to see by providing an object position discriminating circuit and a date position setting circuit to automatically change the display position of the date so that the date does not overlap the object. CONSTITUTION:The video signal picked up by a video camera 1 is inputted to an object position discriminating circuit 2. The, circuit 2 discriminates between the object and a background and sends the information to a date position setting circuit 3. The circuit 3 automatically sets such position of the date based on information from the object position discriminating circuit 2 that the date does not overlap on the object, and the information is set to a date generating circuit 4. The circuit 4 sends a date signal at this position to a date adding circuit 5, and the date signal is added to the video signal to display the date at the position other than the object. As the result, satisfactory photographing is performed without overlap of the date on the object during photographing of the video camera.

御スイッチ10がオン状態ならば日付位置情報cにより
日付位置を自動的に可変して被写体に重ならないように
する。日付生成回路4は日付タイミング制御回路9から
のタイミング信号aにより日付信号fを日付加算回路5
へ入力する。日付加算回路5はビデオ信号aに日付信号
fを加算してモニタ11ヘ入力する。
