2. Description of the Related Art A papermaking fabric is a fabric for forming a wet paper by dehydrating the water content of the slurry while carrying a slurry-like stock material in which the supplied pulp fibers are dispersed, and is an endless paper machine. Drive over The traveling speed has become faster and faster in recent years, and the vehicle can run at a high speed of up to 1200 m / min. During traveling, the woven fabric comes into contact with a dewatering member such as a suction box and a hydrofoil of a paper machine, various rolls such as a table roll and a couch roll, and the traveling surface is worn.

The wear of the papermaking fabric is particularly rapid at the so-called ears near the ends in the width direction. The ears are the boundary between the fabric part on which the paper stock is placed and the non-textile part on which the stock material is not placed. It is thought that it will wear violently because it comes into contact with the suction box. The wear of papermaking fabrics has a significant effect on the service life of the fabrics, and when the wear progresses to a certain extent, the fabrics break.
When the fabric is rotating at high speed during this cutting, the cutting part jumps up,
It causes an accident of destroying a papermaking device such as a headbox. Since the papermaking fabric is subjected to high tension, if some part is cut, it will become a notch and the tearing force will propagate and cut. Therefore, even if the parts other than the selvages are still in a usable state, if the selvages become worn, the entire fabric becomes unusable. Therefore, there has been a strong demand for improving the wear resistance of the ears. If the life of papermaking fabric is improved, not only the papermaking company will reduce the amount of papermaking fabric used and the cost will be reduced, but also the number of times of exchanging the papermaking fabric will be reduced. The loss of paper production due to the stoppage is reduced, and a great effect is achieved. Therefore, various attempts have hitherto been made. For example, the warp yarns at the end portions are simply increased, a reinforcing woven fabric is attached to the end traveling surface, or a resin is applied to the end traveling surface.

However, none of them was always satisfactory. If the warp yarns are simply increased, there is some effect but the wear volume does not increase so much that the wear resistance does not improve to a satisfactory level. If the reinforcing fabric is attached or resin is applied,
Many problems arise because the water is completely lost. For example, if there is no water in the ears, or if there is little water, the water will not flow into the running surface, and the ears will wear rapidly because the vehicle runs without water that provides lubricity. Further, the papermaking fabric causes meandering when running on the paper machine. This phenomenon occurs due to incorrect parallelism of various rolls, uneven suction degree of the suction box, dimensional error of the fabric, etc., but it cannot be practically eliminated. Therefore, the slurry may or may not be deposited on the boundary portion between the papermaking portion and the ear portion, which are most worn. For this reason, if the water drainage of the ears is too small, a good wet paper web cannot be formed in this portion, and the widthwise end of the paper web thus produced will be in a poor state. When the wet paper web is transferred from the wire part to the dry part, the end of the wet paper web in the defective state is thrown away and an ear pick phenomenon occurs, and the wet paper web that has been transferred to the felt is rolled up and the paper is cut. Further, when the resin is applied, the resin hardens and contracts, so that the ear portion of the applied part contracts more than the non-applied part, so that there is a problem that the adjacent part is rapidly wavy. Because of these various drawbacks, simply increase the number of yarns in the fabric,
The problem cannot be solved by applying the resin.

The first feature of the present invention is that a reinforcing warp is woven into the selvage. Since the woven fabric is cut when the warp is worn at the ears, the wear life of the warp is improved by arranging the reinforcing warp here.

The second feature of the present invention is that the reinforcing yarn is woven into the structure with the lower weft yarn. By woven in this way, the crimp of the reinforcing warp exists only on the running surface, has an abrasion resistance effect, and does not exist on the paper making surface, so that the smoothness of the paper making surface is not impaired. Further, the reinforcing warp forms a long crimp and a three-dimensional water space is formed, so that the water ratio of the selvage does not decrease. Even if resin is processed, the solid water space will not be blocked.

The third feature of the present invention is that the weaving positions of the reinforcing warps are offset from the weaving positions of the adjacent reinforcing warps. The following two effects are exhibited by this third feature. When adjacent reinforcing warp yarns are woven at the same position, that is, the same weft yarn, an indentation occurs at that position. When the vehicle travels at high speed, the recessed portion contacts the suction box or the foil while being hit by the imperfections, so that the wear becomes remarkable. However, if weaving positions of adjacent reinforcing threads are shifted, not only will the dent become smaller, but there will also be a straight reinforcing warp that is not woven next to the dent, preventing the dent from being hit by a suction box or foil. Wearability is improved. Another function is that the lower weft in which the reinforcing warp is woven is inevitably lower than the weft in which the reinforcing warp is not woven. Therefore, it is easily subject to wear. When the weaving position of the reinforcing warp is deviated, the reinforcing yarn which is not woven next to the downwardly sloping weft exists below the weft, so that the weft is prevented from being worn. In this way, the crimp of the reinforcing warp has a structure protruding to the worn surface. As the woven fabric for papermaking, a so-called double woven fabric having a single weft double warp, a so-called triple woven fabric having a double weft double warp, and the like are preferable.

The arrangement position of the reinforcing warp is most preferably in the vicinity of the lower side of the fabric near the position where the widthwise end of the wet paper is placed during papermaking. Although there are some differences depending on the papermaking machine, in most cases, it is within 200 mm from the widthwise end of the papermaking fabric. The number of the reinforcing warps is equal to or less than the number of the warps of the main body fabric. A yarn having a larger wire diameter than the warp yarn of the main body fabric is preferable. The reinforcing warp is preferably woven once with a complete design. This is because the interlacing in this way increases the distance between the knuckles, forms a long crimp of the reinforcing warp protruding on the wear surface, and increases the wear resistance volume.

When the ears in which the reinforcing warps are woven are processed with a resin, the wear resistance and the bondability of the reinforcing warps are improved, and the maintenance of the posture is improved. As the reinforcing warp, monofilament or multifilament such as polyethylene terephthalate, nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, or staple yarn is used. In particular, polyethylene terephthalate multifilaments are preferable because they have good resin processability and can integrate reinforcing threads.

This is a woven fabric in which two reinforcing warps with a complete design are arranged adjacent to each other in the weft direction in the ears of a woven fabric consisting of a single warp yarn and a double weft fabric of the shaft. More specifically, during weaving, the reinforcing warp yarns are arranged adjacent to each other in the weft direction in the weft position of the warp group constituting the fabric body in consideration of shrinkage in the width direction due to heat setting performed in a later step, and the weaving position is set. Weaved in a shifted manner.

In this embodiment, two reinforcing yarns are arranged in one complete design every 3 cycles as viewed from the weft direction. The ratio of two reinforcing warps to 24 warps of the fabric body. The reinforcing warp yarns are arranged in the complete design of 15 in the selvage portion on one side when viewed from the weft direction, so that the total number is 30. Of course, 30 pieces are arranged on both ears. The width of the selvage part in which the reinforcing warp is woven is 60 mm, and the reinforcing warp is present between 50 mm inside and 60 mm further inside the fabric end. In the present embodiment, the arrangement is made as described above, but the arrangement is not limited to this, and the number, width, and position of the reinforcing threads may be selected according to the situation of the paper machine.

Further, in this embodiment, since the two reinforcing yarns are arranged in the warp direction so as to be adjacent to each other in the weft direction, the knuckle of the wear surface weft which is protruded by weaving the reinforcing yarns is arranged. You can understand well that they protect each other. In addition, since the wear surface of the reinforcing thread protects the knuckle area from each other, it becomes smooth in the warp direction, that is, in the running direction, and the knuckle area of the reinforcing thread is subjected to severe wear such as being hit by a foil or the like. It also has the effect of preventing it from being received and improving the wear resistance of the reinforcing yarn itself. In addition, in this embodiment, since the reinforcing yarn does not appear on the paper-making surface, there is an effect that the paper-making surface requiring smoothness is hardly affected.
