本考案は自動車などに取付けられ、通称ハイマウントス
トップランプと称されている補助制動灯に関するもので
あり、詳細には車室内のリヤウインドガラス寄りに取付

向に長尺の車両用灯具においては、前記した取付用部材
の数も必然的に増加するものとなるので、部品点数も組
立工程も増加するものとなり、コストダウンが困難とな
り市場性を失うと云う問題点を生ずるものとなってい
た。 また、前記した組立が煩雑化することは同時に故障時の
前記基板の交換などメンテナス面でも煩雑化し、サービ
ス性に欠ける問題点も併せて生じていた。 加えて、この種の灯具が搭載される自動車には大型、小
型と各種の寸法のものがあり、それ等に適合させるため
には前記レンズを含むハウジング、裏蓋などに夫々専用
の金型を作成せざるを得ないものとなり、この点でもコ
ストアップし市場性を失うものとなり、これらの点の解

鎖するごとく取付けられたレンズ部と、前記筺体部の端
部開口部から前記嵌合溝にスライド挿着された光源を実
装した基板と、前記端部開口部の夫々に蓋状に係着され
るキャップとを備えて成ることを特徴とする車両用灯具
を提供することで、部品点数と組立工数とを低減し、更
に任意の幅を有する灯具を簡略に製造可能として、前記

明する。 第1図に符号1で示すものは本考案に係る車両用灯具で
あり、この車両用灯具1のハウジング部2は、樹脂など
の不透明部材で形成され前面および左右の両端部が開口
する断面が略コ字状の筺体部2bと、同じく樹脂などの
透明部材で形成され前記筺体部2bの前面開口部を閉鎖
するように取付けられたレンズ部2aとから成り、これ
により、ぜんきハウジング部2は両端に端部開口部2d
を有するものとなり、加えて前記筺体部2bには上下面
の壁の内面の夫々に起立形成された一対のガイドリブに
よる嵌合溝2cが前記端部開口部2dに渡り設けられる
ものとなっている。 上記の構成としたことで、前記ハウジング部2はその垂
直方向への断面は何れの場所においても同一形状となる
ので、このハウジング2の形成に当たっては例えば前記
レンズ部2aと筺体部2bとの2色押出成形による一体
成形でも良く、また前記レンズ部2aと筺体部2bとを
同様な手段で別体に形成し、例えば接着、嵌着など適宜
な手段で一体化して形成することも自在となる。 また、前記した押出成形により成形可能としたことで、
予めに極めて長尺のチャンネル状に形成しておき、適宜
な長さに切断することで所望の幅方向の寸法を有するハ
ウジング2が自在に得られるものとなる。 図中に符号3で示すものはプリント配線回路を形成しL
ED素子3aの複数を搭載した基板であり、前記ハウジ
ング2の端部開口部2dの何れか一方の側から夫々の前
記嵌合溝2cにスライド挿入するのみの工程で前記ハウ
ジング2の所定位置に装着されるものとなる。 前記基板3が装着された後のハウジング部2には、夫々
の前記端部開口部2dに蓋状に係着するキャップ4aが
取付けられ、前記基板3はこのキャップ4aによりハウ
ジング部2からの脱落を防止されるものとなる。 尚、前記キャップ4aは、予めに取付けられるL字状部
材4c付の吸着盤4bとから成る取付脚部4として取付
けられるが、このとき前記L字状部材4cのキャップ側
の端部は第2図に示すように例えばスプリングワッシャ
5とナット6とで回動軸、即ち従来例のヒンジ部となる
ように取付けられるものである。 この様にした本考案の車両用灯具1の使用状態を示すも
のが第3図であり、前記吸着盤4bでリヤウインド11
に吸着させて取付け、その後に前記リヤウインド11の
車種毎の傾斜角の相違などの補整のために照射方向が所
定の方向に向かうように前記ハウジング部2を回動させ
ることで、この車両用灯具1の取付けは完了する。 尚、図示は省略するが例えば前記回動軸をこの実施例の
スプリングワッシャ5の摩擦により位置保持させるもの
に替えて、螺子の締付けにより位置保持させるような変
更は自由であり、この変更が本考案の要旨を損なうもの
でないことは云うまでもなく、又それ以外の例えば前記
吸着盤4bに換えて両面接着テープ等を採用するなど適

優れた効果を奏するものとなる。また、単純な構成で基
板の着脱が可能となることは、後の市場での不具合発生
時の対応も簡素化されメンテナンス、サービス性も向上
する。 更に、上記構成としたことで前記ハウジング部は押出成
形など簡便な成形手段で形成可能となり、この面からも
コストダウンに優れた効果を奏する。 加えて、前記押出成形で成形可能となることで、前記ハ
ウジング部を予めに長尺のチャンネル状に形成してお
き、これから適宜の寸法に切り出すだけで、例えば大型
車用、小型車用など所望の幅を持つ車両用灯具が、何等
の金型費などの追加なく自在に得られるものとなり、製
品に広い対応性を与える優れた効果も奏するものであ
