FIG. 4 is a three-sided view showing the outer shape of the metal terminal 1, where (a) is a plan view, (b) is a front view, and (c) is a side view. The metal terminal 1 comprises a metal plate 1a having a region of several mm square and terminal portions 1b arranged on both sides of the metal plate 1a so as to be horizontal to the board for soldering on the board. The metal terminal 1 is molded with resin 2, and the opening 3 forms the metal plate 1a portion for press-contacting the female connector 10. Also, FIG.
As shown in FIG. 3, the metal plate 1 a is separated by a wall 14. The material of the metal terminal 1 is preferably phosphor bronze, the surface of the metal plate 1a is preferably nickel-plated or gold-plated, and the surface of the terminal portion 1b is preferably tin-plated.

Reference numeral 4 denotes the same metal terminal as the metal terminal 1 used for the female connector 10. Reference numeral 5 is a contact pin having a rounded tip. The contact pin 5 is arranged between the contact pin 5 and the metal terminal 1 and is a coil spring 6
Has been pushed upwards by. Even if the coil spring 6 is replaced with a leaf spring as shown by 7 in FIG. 5B, the same effect can be obtained. The pushed up contact terminal 5 is prevented from moving upward by the metal terminal 1, the contact terminal 5, and the claw portion 9 of the resin 8 that molds the coil spring 6. The pressure above the contact pin 5 when stopped is preferably set to around 100 g. The contact pin 5 can be moved in the vertical direction, and even if the male connector 11 and the female connector 10 are misaligned in the vertical direction, connection can be performed by a pressure of about 100 g. By setting a long moving area, there is an advantage that it is not necessary to bring several different connectors depending on the distance between the boards. The material of the contact terminal is also preferably phosphor bronze, and the surface is preferably plated with nickel or gold. By setting the height of the metal terminal 1 to 1 mm, the moving area of the contact pin 5 to 2 to 3 mm, and the height of the contact pin 5 to 1 mm,
The total height of the male connector 11 is 4 to 5 mm, the height of the female connector 10 can be set to 2 mm, and the minimum distance between boards can be 6 to 7 mm. Also, by providing a cavity inside the contact pin 5 and reducing the moving area of the contact pin, and arranging the coil spring 6 inside the contact pin 5, it is possible to keep the distance between the substrates within 5 mm. is there.

, The male connector 11 mounted on the board 12 by soldering and the female connector 10 also mounted on the board 13 by soldering are pressed against each other with a certain fixed distance, A signal line is connected between the substrate 12 and the substrate 13.
The board 12 and the board 13 are separately fixed to the case by a method such as screwing, and the male connector 11 and the female connector 10 are aligned with each other when the case is assembled. Addition of case dimensional tolerance, dimensional tolerance such as board hole position, board mounting tolerance, case matching tolerance, etc. ± 1.0mm no matter how close the tolerance is.
There will be some misalignment. Therefore, the female connector 10
By setting the metal plate 1a of 3 mm square and separating the metal plates 1a from each other by the wall 14, there is a horizontal positional deviation as shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (c). Even if it occurs, a connection with sufficient reliability is possible. Further, as shown in the sectional view of the female connector in FIG. 3, the wall 14 is inclined, and a large gap is provided between the contact pin 5 and the resin 8 in FIG. 5 (a). Therefore, when the metal plate 1a of the female connector 10 is set to 3 mm square, the positional deviation is ± 1.5 mm.
Tolerable to some extent.

However, if a land is provided on the board and gold plating is applied only to the land, the cost of the board will increase, and if there is no wall between the lands, the connection between terminals that are misaligned or short-circuiting will be unreliable. Since there are points, it is desirable to use the female connector 10.
