Conventionally, technology has been developed to illuminate equipment that is installed in a narrow, dark place such as an instrument panel.
A combination of an acrylic resin plate and a small lighting lamp has been mainly used, but this lighting device has large illumination spots and the display on the display surface of the instrument panel is difficult to read, and the heat of the light source lamp causes the temperature on the display surface to change. There was a difficulty that it was easy to rise.

As shown in FIG. 3, when the light source (33) is coupled to one end of the side light leak tape (31) obtained by such a method and the brightness of the light leaked from the side light leak part (32) is measured. As shown in FIG. 3 (B), there is a tendency that the brightness of the light leak part near the light source is high and the brightness of the light leak part far from the light source is gradually lowered. Also, as shown in FIG. 4 (A), both ends of the optical fiber tape (31) are connected to the light sources (33) and (34), and the brightness of the light emitted from the light leaking part (32) is measured. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention are currently investigating for the purpose of developing an optical fiber side surface leakage processing device capable of obtaining a light emitting tape which is less likely to cause the above-mentioned inconvenience, and the shape of the cushion (25) shown in FIG. The present invention has been completed by finding that the object can be achieved by specifying

The gist of the present invention is that a hot stamper (21),
It consists of emery paper (23), cushion material (25), cushion mounting plate (26), and is inclined from one end to the other end as cushion material as shown in FIGS. 1 (A) to (D). There is provided an optical fiber side surface light leakage processing device characterized by using a structure having a structure or a structure having an inclined structure from both ends thereof toward a central portion thereof.

The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. In Fig. 4
(A) and (B) is an example of a cushion material having an inclined structure from both ends toward the center, (A) is a step structure, (B) is an example of an elliptical shape Is. Both ends of a light emitting fiber tape (11), which has been subjected to side light leakage treatment by using FIG.
FIG. 1 (E) shows the result of measuring the luminance of the light leaked from the light leak processing section (12) after being coupled to (14). It is inferior that the light leakage portion of the emitted light fiber tape has extremely high brightness.
The depth of the scratches in this light leakage processing part is shallow at both light leakage processing ends,
This effect is obtained because the depth is deeper toward the center.

Next, as a cushion material, as shown in FIG. 1 (C) or (D),
A case where the optical fiber tape is processed by using the inclined structure from one end to the other end will be described. In the figure, (C) shows a structure in which the cushion material increases or decreases stepwise from one end to the other end, and (D) shows a structure in which the cushion material increases or decreases linearly from one end to the other end. is there. One end of a light emitting fiber (11) made of a cushion material having such a structure is coupled to a light source (13), and the brightness of light leaked from the light leak processing section (12) is distributed along the length direction. The measured results are shown in Fig. 1 (F). It can be seen that the brightness of the light emitted from the light leakage portion is relatively uniform.

The brightness of the light emitted from the light leakage processing part of the light emitting tape obtained by subjecting the optical fiber to the side light leakage processing using the device of the present invention should be substantially the same across the entire light leakage processing part. When used as the light source of the instrument panel, it can be used as a good light source without emission spots.
