Abstract

PURPOSE:To prolong the it residence time of a sprinkled water on a roof surface, make it to contribute to cooling of the roof surface, and reduce the amount of water sprinkled by connecting a chemicals injecting means for generation of bubbles to each sprinkling hose, and sprinkling the water from an atomizer nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Sprinkling hoses 3 are installed at the ridge of a metal roof 1, and a plurality of atmoizer nozzles 5 protruding in the direction of roof inclining are arranged at a constant spacing. Before the nozzle 5, a chemicals injecting means 11 for mixing of chemicals 9 is connected. When a pump 7 is driven to send water to the hoses 3, the water whose viscosity is raised by mixing of a minute quantity of chemicals 9, produces bubbles simultaneously with atomization, and the sprinkled water in the form of bubbles of a great quantity flows down in the direction of roof inclining. This prolongs the residence time of the water on the roof and enhances the cooling effect through taking away the evaporative latent heat from the roof surface.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a roof cooling system for reducing a heat load due to solar radiation from a roof surface and a cooling load inside a building, and particularly to a building having a metal or film roof in a factory, a gymnasium or the like. It is suitable for use as a product.

2. Description of the Related Art In a roof made of a material having a small heat capacity such as metal or film, the roof surface temperature becomes extremely high due to the effect of solar radiation, and the heat transfer and radiation heat the interior space of the building. . Conventionally, no measures have been taken against such a rise in roof surface temperature, or a method of sprinkling water on the roof surface and cooling the roof surface (roof water spray system) has been adopted. . In the roof water sprinkling system, water is sprinkled along the roof surface using a roof slope to cool the roof surface that has become hot due to the sensible heat of the water. The water that has taken heat from the roof surface is either drained as it is or recovered in a system provided with a circulation device and used again for watering.

However, in the conventional roof sprinkling system, the sprinkled water immediately flows down from the roof surface due to the roof slope, so in order to cool the roof effectively, a large amount of water is sprayed or Or, it was necessary to provide a large capacity circulation device. Therefore, there is a drawback that the running cost of the system or the initial cost increases. The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and by increasing the residence time of sprinkling water on the roof surface, not only the sensible heat of water but also the latent heat of vaporization can contribute to cooling the roof surface. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system, thereby simultaneously reducing the amount of water spray and improving cooling efficiency.

[Function] The water sprinkled from the spray nozzle becomes foamy, and the speed at which it flows down the roof surface slows down and stays on the roof surface for a long time. Cooling of the surface is performed without waste, the watering temperature becomes high, evaporation is promoted, and when evaporation occurs, the roof surface is cooled by a large amount of latent heat of evaporation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT A preferred embodiment of a foam-spreading roof cooling system according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram of a foam spray roof cooling system according to the present invention. A water sprinkling pipe 3 is installed in a ridge of a metal roof (or a lightweight roof such as a membrane roof), and the water sprinkling pipe 3 is appropriately branched so as to have a uniform roof surface area. A plurality of spray nozzles 5 protruding in the roof slope direction are attached to the water spray pipe 3 at equal intervals, and the spray nozzles 5 spray water along the roof surface. The sprinkling pipe 3 is provided with a pump 7, and the pump 7 sends water to the sprinkling pipe 3 at a predetermined water pressure. As the water supply means to the sprinkling pipe 3, in addition to using the pump 7, a water supply means for supplying water from a water tank installed at a high place can be considered. A medicine injection means 11 for mixing the medicine 9 is connected to the front of the spray nozzle 5 of the water spray tube 3, and the medicine injection means mixes a trace amount of the medicine 9 into the water supply in the water spray tube 3. The chemical 9 increases the viscosity of water spray and generates bubbles during spraying, and soap or the like that does not cause roof stains is preferable.

In the foam spray roof cooling system thus constructed, when the pump 7 is driven and water is supplied to the water spray pipe 3, the spray nozzle 5 sprays water containing a small amount of the chemical agent 9. The water whose viscosity has been increased by mixing the chemicals 9 generates bubbles at the same time as spraying, and bubble-like watering containing a large amount of bubbles falls along the roof slope. At this time, the sprinkling water has a high viscosity and a surface tension due to bubbles, so that it takes a long time to drop on the roof surface and takes a long time to pass through the roof surface. That is, since the sprinkling water has a long residence time on the roof surface, heat is sufficiently exchanged with the roof surface, and the roof surface is effectively cooled (sensible heat cooling). Further, since the heat exchange is sufficiently performed, the sprinkling water has a high temperature and is easily vaporized, and when vaporized, a large amount of latent heat of vaporization is taken from the roof surface.

Thus, unlike the conventional roof water sprinkling system, the above-mentioned foam spray roof cooling system performs the water sprinkling in the form of foam, so that the roof residence time of water sprinkling becomes long, and as a result, a small amount of water sprinkling is required. Cooling becomes possible. Further, since the latent heat of vaporization can be taken from the roof surface, the cooling effect can be remarkably enhanced as compared with the case of cooling with only sensible heat.

In the above embodiment, the description of the treatment of water spray after spraying is omitted, but the water spray may be drained after cooling the roof surface or reused by a circulation device. However, even in this case, since the amount of water sprayed is small, the circulation device can be made small.

As described above in detail, according to the foam-spraying roof cooling system of the present invention, since the sprinkling of the water is foamy, the residence time on the roof surface of the water sprinkling can be lengthened and the water sprinkling can be performed. Not only the sensible heat but also the latent heat of vaporization can contribute to the cooling of the roof surface. As a result, the roof surface can be effectively cooled with a small amount of water, which reduces running costs.
And, improvement of cooling efficiency can be achieved at the same time.
