の好適な実施例を図面を参照して説明する。図1は本発
明に係る泡散布屋根冷却システムの概念図である。金属
屋根(或いは、膜屋根等の軽量屋根)1の棟には散水管
3が配管され、散水管3は適宜に分岐され屋根面の受持
ち面積が均等になるように配設されている。散水管3に
は屋根勾配方向に突出した複数の噴霧ノズル5が等間隔
に取り付けられ、噴霧ノズル5は屋根面に沿って水を噴
霧するようになっている。散水管3にはポンプ7が設け
られ、ポンプ7は散水管3に所定水圧で水を送水するよ
うになっている。なお、散水管3への送水手段として
は、ポンプ7を使用する以外に、高所に設置した水槽か
ら水圧により送水を行うものも考えられる。散水管3の
噴霧ノズル5手前には薬剤9を混入させる薬剤注入手段
11が接続され、薬剤注入手段は散水管3内の送水に微
量の薬剤9を混入するようになっている。薬剤9は散水
の粘度を高め、噴霧時に泡を発生させるもので、屋根汚

交換が行われ、屋根面を有効に冷却(顕熱冷却)するこ
とになる。また、十分に熱交換が行われることから、散
水は高温となって蒸発し易くなり、蒸発した際には多大
