れは、海底に突出する堆や岩礁などに魚が集まる性質を
利用し、海底にコンクリートブロック、土管、廃船、老
朽車両などを沈めて人工的に生物の生育を図るものであ
る。しかしながら、海岸に打ち寄せる波を打ち消すため
の消波ブロックと、生物の育成を目的とする人工魚礁と
はその構造・形状を異にしており、また、消波ブロック
が主にコンクリート製であるのに比べ、人工魚礁は種々
の材料が用いられており、一つの物品にて共用できる構
造ではないため、汎用性に欠け、製造・コスト面でも不
利であるという課題を有している。そして、最近では工
業廃水その他により、水質の劣化が顕著であり、現在で
は水中に沈めて効果的なる水質浄化製品は見当たらな
い。本発明は、以上記した従来からの消波・魚礁に用い
るブロックを共用可能として、あわせて水質の浄化にも
使用できる、多目的ブロック体を提供することを目的と
