る。前記小径ローラ2を軸支している案内板5は、下部
の支点P周りで揺動自在に前記搬送ケース3に取付けら
れ、この案内板5を揺動することにより、前記紙幣aを
挾持する挾持作用位置(図3参照)と挾持作用を解除す
る非挾持位置(図4参照)とに変更可能に構成されてい
る。尚、図3に示す11は、前記案内板5の上端に取付
けられた固定片12を搬送ケース3への連結状態に弾性
的に係合保持する板バネである。

て、前記搬送下手側に位置する挟持搬送体の搬送始端部
での挾持を解除する挾持解除手段Eを設けてあり、この
挾持解除手段Eは、図2に示すように、搬送方向下手側
に位置する複数のローラ2、2aのうちの搬送始端部に
位置する大径ローラ2aを前記搬送ケース3に揺動自在
に取付けられた揺動アーム17の一端に取付けると共
に、この揺動アーム17の他端と前記搬送ケース3に取
付けられたソレノイド18の操作ロッド18aの先端と
を連結して構成されている。したがって、前記紙幣投入
機Bによる識別結果が否の場合には、ソレノイド18を
作動させて図2に2点破線で示す位置に大径ローラ2a
を移動させ、不良紙幣aの返送時に挟持搬送体の搬送始
端部での挾持搬送を阻止することができ、不良紙幣aの
返送をスムーズに行なえるようにしてある。
