成し、この脚端から延設した第1の係止片5cを真下か
ら窓ガラスの縁に掛止めるようにして係合状態を強める
構造としたことに加えて切欠き部15を通して流出した
接着剤が第1の係止片と脚部との間に入って双方を接着
し、一体化することから第1の係止片は強い係止力をも
つことになり、窓ガラスに対する係合力を高めることが
できる。その一方、第2の係止片5dの突出しで真下か
らの係合を助けることから更にモールの浮き上りが阻止
され、安定した確実な装着が期待できるものとなる。そ
して更に本発明における周縁モールは第1の係止片5c
が脚部5bの一面に寄り添う状態で係合し、且つこの間
に前記流出した接着剤が侵入し両者を一体に固着するこ
とから強い係合状態がえられる。また一方、本発明周縁
モールにおいては第2の係止片5dが起上り壁17に突
当たってこの脚部5bを窓ガラスの縁部に近付くべく付
勢する構造となっていることから、装着に伴い自動的に
周縁モールは窓ガラスに接近し、窓ガラス表面に被る主
体5aの片部9の被り幅を揃えて均一化する働きがあ
り、窓ガラスの縁を飾る周縁モールとして極めて効果的
である。

返すように延設され先端部にガラスの縁を受け止める爪
及び係合部を備える第1の係止片と、同じく脚部下端か
ら前記装着窪みの起上がり壁に向けて略直角状に延設さ
れる第2の係止片とを有してなり、前記脚部の脚端部に
は長さ方向に沿って適宜の間隔をおいて上記第1,第2
の係止片のそれぞれに亘って切欠き各係止片の上面に向
けて窓形に開口する切欠き部を設け、前記脚部の突き入
れ時に前記接着剤を該切欠き部を通して各係止片の上方
に逃すようにしてなることを特徴とした合成樹脂製の自
動車の窓ガラス用周縁モール。
