2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a makeup method for a building member having an irregular cross section having unevenness or a curved surface, there is known a method in which a printed polyvinyl chloride resin sheet or the like is attached or painted. ing. Furthermore, the following techniques have been used as a method for finishing the texture of natural wood with a higher quality. For example, a method of using a high-quality material made of solid natural wood, using it as a member having an irregular cross section with an NC router and a profile sander, and applying the paint finish to make the material visible so that the material itself can be utilized.
As a base material, a method in which inexpensive plywood, MDF, or the like is processed into a member having a modified cross-section, and a transfer sheet having a wood grain print pattern is used to perform the lapping transfer with heat or an adhesive. After veneer sheets sliced from natural wood are joined by finger joints to create a long continuous veneer sheet roll, it is lined with a non-woven fabric to further improve processability, and plywood or MDF base with a modified cross section A method of wrapping (curved surface laminating) on the material and then painting the surface of the stuck veneer. The back side of the veneer is lined with a fibrous sheet adhered to it, and the front side is a decorative veneer sheet to which a decorative layer with a pattern is transferred (Shokai Sho 6
1-74433) is attached. The back side of the veneer is lined, and the front side is pasted with the pattern transfer sheet on the base material without peeling off the transfer base material. Then, the base material is subjected to V-cut processing from the back surface side, and then the transfer base material of the pattern transfer sheet is attached. A method of peeling to form a decorative profile member (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-125142). Alternatively, a transparent film having a semi-transparent wood grain printed pattern on the back surface is attached to an inexpensive wood board material such as lauan or plywood on the back surface side, and then the board material is V-cut and wound around a base material. and so on.

As described above, in the conventional method, a method of using a veneer, which is a tree itself, on the surface has been used as a method for obtaining a high-quality wooden decorative surface at low cost. However, it is not only expensive to use a high grade material as a raw material for the veneer, but also it is difficult to stably obtain it. Therefore, as a method of solving such a problem, a veneer that does not depend on a high-grade material is used, and instead, a transparent film having a semi-transparent wood pattern printed is laminated on the surface of the veneer to laminate the veneer itself. The high-quality wood texture is expressed by the synergistic effect of the pattern and the printed pattern. On the other hand, in general, a method for attaching a decorative sheet to a base material having a modified cross-sectional shape such as a column is as follows: after the application is performed in a flat state, the decorative member has a modified cross-section by V-cutting the base material. There has been used a method of applying the decorative sheet or a method of directly adhering a decorative sheet to a substrate having a modified cross section by lapping. However, when the veneer is used as a material for a decorative sheet for a member whose base material is not a flat surface but has an irregular cross section having irregularities or curved surfaces, the surface of the veneer is exposed, that is, a resin layer such as a decorative layer as a surface layer. Although it is not laminated, there is no problem if it is applied to the member and then painted to form a resin layer on the surface of the veneer,
When a resin layer such as a decorative layer formed by transfer is laminated on the front surface of the veneer sheet in advance, there is a problem that a slight crack occurs in the resin layer and the appearance is impaired. However, there was a limit to its use for irregular cross sections. Of course, even if the veneer sheet is attached once to the modified cross-section member and then attached again with a transparent film on which a semi-transparent wood grain pattern is printed, the same final layer structure is obtained. It is possible to obtain the same effect, but in this case, the sticking step is two steps, which is not practical. Therefore, in the present invention, in the use of a veneer decorative sheet in which a decorative resin layer is already formed on the surface side of the veneer sheet, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of cracks even when it is attached to an irregular cross section composed of complicated irregularities and curved surfaces. Therefore, it is a problem to be able to manufacture curved surface members.

In order to solve the above problems and achieve the object, in the method for manufacturing a curved decorative member of the present invention, in the process of making the veneer decorative sheet into a curved surface, cracks are generated on the veneer decorative sheet. It is characterized by generating and maintaining a state in which the stretchability of the decorative layer is improved, paying attention to that the cosmetic layer is generated. That is, a veneer decorative sheet consisting of a decorative layer, a veneer sheet, and a backing layer is placed on the base material having a modified cross section with an adhesive so that the backing layer adheres from the surface side, and the veneer decorative sheet is thermocompression bonded. In the method of adhering to a base material, a method for manufacturing a curved decorative member is characterized by using a veneer decorative sheet composed of a decorative layer having an elongation rate of 30% or more during the adhering process. I did. Furthermore, the method for manufacturing a curved decorative member is characterized in that the veneer decorative sheet is heated at least from the decorative layer side of the veneer decorative sheet at the time of sticking.

The veneer sheet 2 is made of wood of 0.15 to 0.3.
Although it is sliced to a thickness of about mm, the kind of material is not particularly limited, but it is preferable that it is usually cheap and can be stably obtained in a large amount because it has a whiteness such as rawan, sina, basswood, melapee and mangashiro. Further, in order to facilitate attachment to a curved surface such as an irregular cross-sectional shape, a known softening treatment such as alkali solution treatment or resin impregnation may be performed. By using such an inexpensive veneer, it is possible to express high-quality materials such as oak, chic rose, rosewood, and brown by the synergistic effect with the pattern of the decorative layer. The veneer sheet 2 may be a single sheet having an appropriate size, but in view of suitability for continuous processing, two veneer sheets 2 and 2'are used as shown in FIG.
It is preferable that the long continuous sheet is formed by joining the sheets with a finger join. In this case, the thickness is 0.18-
It is preferably 0.22 mm, and when it is 0.18 mm or less, finger joint is difficult to be made, and when it is 0.22 mm or more, it is too hard to be lapped easily, and cracks of the decorative layer are apt to occur.

The veneer sheet 2 is formed by laminating a fibrous backing sheet 7 via an adhesive layer 6. By backing, the veneer sheet 2 is reinforced so that it can be prevented from tearing or cracking during bending, and the rigidity of the veneer is alleviated to increase the flexibility as a whole, and the fibrous backing sheet is covered. It is also preferable in the sense of improving the adhesiveness to the body. As the backing sheet 7, Japanese paper, polyester or rayon non-woven fabric of about 25 to 100 g / m 2 is used.
Adhesive layer 6 for closely fixing the backing sheet 7 to the veneer sheet 2
As the adhesive, an adhesive made of polyvinyl acetate resin, ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, or the like may be used.

In order to form the decorative layer 5 on the surface of the veneer sheet 2, a transfer sheet is separately prepared in advance and is transferred to the veneer sheet 2. The surface of the veneer sheet 2 is preferably sanded (polished) in advance in order to improve its flatness. The reason why the pattern layer is formed by transfer as a part of the decorative layer is to improve the quality of the pattern. That is, it is not impossible to print a pattern directly on the surface of the veneer by offset gravure printing, silk screen printing, etc., but once it becomes a substrate sheet with a thin and uniform thickness such as paper or film and good printability. Print as a transfer sheet,
By transferring a pattern onto the veneer by transfer using this transfer sheet, it is possible to form a print pattern that is more precise, rich in gradation, and expressive as compared with direct printing. This is because the veneer plate, which is the object to be printed, has rigidity and is inferior in surface smoothness, and is not suitable for direct printing.

It suffices if it has releasability with respect to the pattern layer and the release layer formed on the base sheet, and further, in the case of a method of peeling the base sheet after attaching the veneer decorative sheet to the modified cross-section member,
It is preferable that the base sheet has flexibility and stretchability such that the base sheet follows the irregular cross-sectional shape, and for example, polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate, polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, nylon 6, nylon 66, etc. The synthetic resin film of polyamide resin or the like, paper, or a laminated body of a plurality of synthetic paper or the like is used. Further, a release layer may be provided if necessary. As the release layer, a release agent alone such as a polyolefin resin, a silicone resin, or a fluororesin, or a coating film of a paint obtained by adding these to a known vehicle can be used.

As the pattern layer, when the veneer decorative sheet is attached to the modified cross-section member, an ink composition made of a resin exhibiting a suitable elongation property is applied to the releasable substrate sheet by an appropriate printing method. Create by printing a wood pattern. As the ink composition, a composition obtained by kneading a vehicle with a pigment or dye colorant, a plasticizer, a stabilizer, other additives, a solvent or a diluent is used. Examples of the vehicle include ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, cellulose acetate propionate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose derivatives such as cellulose acetate, polystyrene, styrene resin such as poly α-methylstyrene and styrene copolymer resin, polymethacryl Acrylic acid or methacrylic resin homo- or copolymer resin such as methyl acidate, polyethyl methacrylate, polyethyl acrylate, and polybutyl acrylate, rosin, rosin-modified maleic acid resin, rosin-modified phenolic resin, rosin such as polymerized rosin Ester resin, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl polymers such as polyvinyl butyral, coumarone resin, vinyltoluene resin, polyamid Resins, polyester resins, by selecting more than one or two from among the natural or synthetic thermoplastic resin such as polyurethane resins used. In addition to selecting a resin suitable for elongation of the resin itself used for the vehicle, the elongation rate of the vehicle can be adjusted by a plasticizer. As the plasticizer to be added,
Esters are often used, especially dibasic acids, higher fatty acids, aromatic acids, phosphoric acid, and esters of glycerin, which is a polyhydric alcohol.

When the veneer decorative sheet is attached, the elongation rate is 3
Since it is 0% or more, if the pattern layer at the time of sticking is heated, the resin is easily stretched, and the selection range of the pattern layer ink is expanded accordingly. Therefore, in the case of room temperature processing, among the above vehicle resins, especially polyvinyl chloride,
Polyvinyl acetate, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, urethane resin and the like are suitable due to the flexibility of resin design and the elongation suitability of the resin itself. Further, as the plasticizer, dibutyl phthalate, tricresyl phosphate, dioctyl phthalate and the like are particularly suitable. If the cosmetic layer is heated during the sticking process, the above-mentioned resins can be used as the vehicle as well as the above-mentioned resins, and castor oil, epoxy-soybean oil, etc. can be used as the plasticizer, and the range of use can be expanded. In order to transfer the transfer sheet as shown in FIG. 5 to the veneer sheet, an adhesive may be applied to the veneer sheet, the transfer sheet may be brought into close contact with the veneer sheet, and then the base material sheet may be peeled off and transferred.
In this case, as the adhesive, vinyl acetate emulsion adhesive or the like, acrylic adhesive, vinylidene chloride adhesive, polyvinyl acetal adhesive, polyvinyl chloride adhesive, ethylene copolymer adhesive, rubber adhesive An adhesive made of a thermoplastic resin such as an adhesive is good in terms of elongation suitability, and preferably a vinyl acetate adhesive or the like in terms of elongation suitability at the time of sticking. On the other hand, in the case of a thermosetting adhesive, when the veneer decorative sheet after transfer is attached to a member having an irregular cross section, appropriate stretchability is required, so it is necessary to completely cure it before attachment. Since the physical properties cannot be obtained, it is necessary to use a resin that is in a semi-cured state and can be obtained in a solidified state sufficient for closely fixing the pattern layer and the veneer layer to each other. Therefore, as the thermosetting adhesive, polyurethane adhesives, thermosetting acrylic resin adhesives and the like can be used as long as they satisfy the above conditions. As a coating method, a roll coating, a gravure coating, a reverse coating, or the like may be used to apply the coating to the protruding plate side or the transfer sheet side. In addition, a primer layer may be applied to the design surface of the transfer sheet in order to improve the close contact with the design layer.

Although the adhesive layer 3 may be formed separately from the transfer sheet as described above, it may be formed on the transfer sheet 12 'as illustrated in FIG. 6 and transferred simultaneously with the pattern layer. As the adhesive layer, a heat-sensitive adhesive having good transferability to the surface of the veneer layer which is porous, and having a property of having a suitable degree of elongation suitability when attached to a modified cross-section member as a veneer decorative sheet is used. It As this heat-sensitive adhesive,
Usually thermoplastic resins, ionomers, etc. are used, cellulose derivatives, styrene resins or styrene copolymers,
It is an acrylic resin, a vinyl resin, a rosin ester resin, a rubber-based resin, or the like, and may be applied by a suitable method as a solvent-drying ink composition or a hot-melt resin composition. Since the modified cross-section member to which the transfer sheet is attached is also a porous body particularly when it is made of wood, in such a case, the adhesive layer is, for example, a condensate of dimer acid and ethylenediamine and has a melting point of 150 to 170 ° C. and 180 ° C.
Condensates at ~ 230 ° C are preferred. The coating amount is preferably 25 to 40 g / m 2 when dried. Application amount is 25
If it is less than g / m 2 , sufficient adhesion cannot be obtained when the transfer sheet is heat-bonded to the veneer, and if it exceeds 40 g / m 2 , the drying property of the coating film is poor and blocking occurs when wound. Or, the volatile solvent remains as bubbles during the drying of the coating film, impairing the adhesiveness, smoothness and aesthetics. Specific examples of the condensate include nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 6
10, nylon 612, nylon 11, nylon 12,
Copolymer nylon, nylon MDX, nylon 46 and the like are available, and Versalon type polyamide is particularly preferred.

A release layer may be provided between the base sheet of the transfer sheet and the pattern layer as illustrated in FIG. In addition,
The term "release layer" or "release layer" as used herein means that the release layer means a layer that remains on the base material side after transfer and facilitates peeling from the decorative layer, and a release layer means transfer. After that, it means a layer which is transferred to the transferred material and becomes the surface protective layer of the decorative layer. Peeling when there are both a release layer and a release layer is performed between the release layer and the release layer. This release layer, after transferring the pattern to the veneer and peeling the base material sheet, is released from the base material sheet side and transferred to the transfer target side, is positioned on the upper layer portion of the pattern layer and serves as a surface protective layer, or It serves as a primer layer for improving the adhesion between the paint layer and the pattern layer when the paint is applied later. Also, if you do not apply post-painting,
A curable resin having excellent surface protection performance can also be used as the release layer. However, in this case, since it is necessary to maintain the stretchability at the time of sticking the veneer decorative sheet, a resin composition having appropriate flexibility is preferable. Specifically, urethane resin, curable acrylic resin, or JP-A-61-985.
The solid-layer reactive ionizing radiation curable resin disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 99, etc. is expected to have the effect of enhancing the surface physical properties when such a curable resin is used. Therefore, the curable resin is selected as the release layer in consideration of solvent resistance and abrasion resistance. In addition,
A known printing method such as gravure printing, offset gravure printing, silk screen printing, offset printing, etc. may be used for laminating a pattern layer, a release layer, a release layer, an adhesive layer, etc. for forming a pattern on the base sheet. .

The veneer decorative sheet having the above structure is attached to the modified cross-section member to produce the desired curved decorative member as follows. In the case where the veneer decorative sheet has sufficient elongation suitability for continuous production, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-5895 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-3.
A known lapping and laminating machine disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 3332 or the like may be used. That is, referring to FIG. 2,
First, the veneer decorative sheet 1 is attached to the take-up roll 30, passed through the feed roll 31 and the guide roll 32, and sent to the adhesive application section. The hot-melt adhesive 41 stored in the ink pan 35 has its coating amount adjusted by the coating roll 34 and the measuring roll 36, and then the impression cylinder 33 and the coating roll 34.
Transfer to the veneer decorative sheet 1 to be transferred between and. The veneer decorative sheet 42 coated with the adhesive is sent to the attaching portion,
Rubber roll R 1, go is adhered to the profiled section member while sequentially pressed by R 2 or the like. When the stretchability of the decorative layer is not sufficient, the heating device 51 as shown in FIG.
May be processed by a device installed in front of the attaching portion so as to face the veneer decorative sheet. From the standpoint of heat retention, the installation location is preferably just before the attachment part. As the heating device, a heating means such as a panel heater or hot air, or a heating method is used. This is because the heating efficiency and cost are taken into consideration. On the other hand, also for the heat-melting type adhesive, the heating device 50 is similarly provided on the bonding surface side before the attaching part,
The applied adhesive can be maintained at an appropriate temperature. However, the heating device 50 also serves as the heating device 51,
Alternatively, it is preferable if the reverse is possible, but it is preferable to provide them independently in terms of the degree of freedom in the attachment process. It is because the heating device 50 is for maintaining an appropriate temperature in consideration of expression of adhesiveness of the adhesive, and the heating device 51 is for maintaining appropriate temperature in consideration of expression of elongation suitability of the makeup layer. The optimum temperature of the is not always the same, and the veneer sheet that is also a heat insulating material because it is woody is sandwiched between them, and the heat insulating element is also included, and the adhesive layer and the decorative layer are controlled to independent temperatures. Is difficult. The curved surface decorative member obtained in this manner may be further painted to obtain a paint finish. In this case, a release layer for recoating may be provided on the transfer sheet to improve the adhesion between the pattern layer and the coating. It should be noted that, by applying the coating, the concave portion of the minute crack is also filled with the coating material and eliminated. Incidentally, the sticking means of the veneer decorative sheet according to the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned lapping and laminating method, but if the conditions such as the shape of the deformed member and the processability of the veneer decorative sheet are suitable, a vacuum pressing method, It goes without saying that it can also be used in other sticking means such as the V-cut processing method.

When the curved surface decorative member is manufactured as described above, since the decorative layer of the veneer decorative sheet attached to the member has at least a physical property that is easily stretched at the time of application, the veneer decorative sheet may have a convex or curved surface portion. When the decorative layer of the sheet is bent, it can be stretched following the bending, so that the occurrence of cracks in the decorative layer on the surface of the veneer can be prevented. Further, if the decorative layer of the veneer decorative sheet is heated at the time of sticking, the flexibility of the resin constituting the decorative layer is increased, so that the physical properties that are easily stretched are exhibited, and cracks can be similarly prevented.

Example 1 First, an MDF was used as a base material to which a veneer decorative sheet was attached, and a member having an irregular cross section was obtained by an NC router and a profile sander. On the other hand, the veneer decorative sheet was prepared as follows. First, for the veneer, a Chinese veneer veneer 0.22 mm thick was joined by finger joints to form a 200 m long continuous veneer roll. Next, a vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate adhesive is applied to the back surface of the veneer with a roll coater at 30 g / m 2 and the water content is substantially dried.
A rayon non-woven fabric of 0 g / m 2 was stuck and cured for 2 days. After that, for the finger joint, the adhesive tape used for the joining portion was also sanded and polished to obtain a finished veneer sheet roll. Further, the transfer sheet is a base material sheet having a thickness of 25 μm of a polyester film manufactured by Toray Industries, Inc., a release layer made of an acrylic resin, a pattern layer made of a polyvinyl chloride resin, and an adhesive made of a dimer acid polyamide type resin in this order. A layer of 15 g / m 2 was gravure printed. The pattern used was an oak pattern. This transfer sheet has a surface temperature of 220 on the elongated veneer sheet.
Transfer was performed by applying heat and pressure with a roll heated to ℃ to obtain a veneer decorative sheet. The veneer decorative sheet prepared as described above and the irregular-shaped cross-section member were subjected to lapping processing by an ordinary lapping laminating machine and adhered to the member to obtain an intended curved decorative member without cracks. FIG. 4 shows an example of the member thus obtained.

As described above, according to the method for manufacturing a curved decorative member of the present invention, a veneer decorative sheet having a decorative layer laminated on the surface is attached along the deformed surface of the deformed cross-sectional member having an uneven surface or a curved surface. Upon wearing, since the decorative layer has physical properties with an elongation percentage of 30% or more, cracks do not occur when the surface of the decorative veneer sheet is stretched. In addition, when the adhesive layer is attached, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of cracks by making the resin of the decorative layer easy to expand even if the decorative layer is sufficiently heated. The higher the degree of freedom when selecting the constituent resin of the decorative layer, the higher the physical properties such as abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, stain resistance, and light resistance required for the decorative member. We will be able to provide things. As a result, it is possible to lap an R shape such as unevenness or a curved surface while imparting a high-class feeling to an inexpensive veneer.
