【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 装置本体と、該装置本体に回転可能に支
持され、掘進方向前面にカッター面を有するカッターヘ
ッドと、該カッターヘッドを掘進方向に対して任意の角
度に傾斜させる傾動手段とを備えた掘削機を用い、 前記カッターヘッドの角度を前後方向に傾斜させてカッ
ターヘッド上端あるいは下端と坑壁間に隙間を設け、該
隙間から掘進を予定するトンネル路線内の地盤にボーリ
ング孔を掘進先方に削孔することにより、該ボーリング
孔を地盤改良、先受け工、又は地盤探査等の前処理作業
に用いるようにしたトンネル掘削における地盤改良など
前処理作業の準備工法。
1.
