Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid detergent composition mild to the skin of hands and excellent in the feeling of wettness. CONSTITUTION:This detergent composition comprises 1-50wt.% sugar ester type surfactant comprising an ester of a 6-18C fatty acid with a monoalkyl ether of a 5 or 6 C monosaccharide (e.g. methylglucose), 0.5-20wt.% anionic surfactant having a COO<->, OSO3<-> or SO3<-> group, and 0.01-10wt.% 1-6C monohydric or polyhydric alcohol such as ethanol, glycerol or sorbitol.
