(ハ)考案が解決しようとする課題 熱交換器用伝熱管の製作には特開昭59−174234
号公報記載のように同一の正方形配列で最大3行20列
に穿孔したパタンプレートを基本として例えばその中か
ら2行10列のみを選択するためのアタッチメントが使
用されており、また特開昭60−3927号公報記載の
ように正三角形配列の最大3行20列の穿孔したパタン
プレートを基本としてその中から2行5列又は3行6列
を選択した方法が例示されているが、いずれの場合もピ
ッチ数又は配列型式を変更するときは基本プレートを全
部入れ換えねばならない。しかし、一般に熱交換器の伝
熱管の配列には正三角形と正方形とがあり、それぞれ孔
間隔(ピッチ)は異なるものが用いられているので、異
なった配列の伝熱管の拡管作業に移るときは一旦装置の
運転を停止して半日以上を費やしてパタンプレートを取
り換える必要があり、このパタンプレートは重量が20
kg以上もあってその上取付け個所が地上3m以上の高所
であり、かつ同一装置について4ケ所以上もあって、危
険な作業であり、かつ取り換えた後の心出し(センター
リング)も長時間を要する困難な作業であるため作業能
率の低下が極めて著しかった。
