Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a porous ceramic product. CONSTITUTION:Earth as starting material is mixed with paper sludge discharged from a paper mill and the resulting mixture is molded and sintered to produce a lightweight ceramic product having high heat insulating property such as crockery, earthenware, porcelain, a tile, a roofing tile or an earthen pipe.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention is different from conventional pottery products and is a product made by mixing fine combustible material with soil as a raw material and baking it. The finished product is foamed inside and becomes a collection of countless small rooms. Small carbides remain in each private room, strengthening the private room and making it less likely to break as a whole, and the heat insulation effect is very high.
And it has been made lighter. If this is used as a "tea ware", the "tea ware" that is not hot to hold in the hand and hard to cool down becomes a "tile" that is light and durable and has excellent heat insulation effect when the "tile" is baked. When it is used for tiles etc., it is a heat insulating tile and its application is in many fields and is truly a revolution of pottery? I am convinced that it will work properly. [Especially for flammable materials, paper sludge from the paper mill is the most suitable. Moreover, there are great expectations for the reuse of industrial waste. ]
