Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of spatter by installing an edged portion which is formed on the end of a lead or a joint of a connection lead along their ends laid out in a parallel direction in such a fashion that they may cover a welded surface area. CONSTITUTION:Joints 6 of connection leads are placed into contact and electric resistance-welded on a welded surface area formed by a plurality of lead terminal portions 1 adjoined in parallel and fixedly installed respectively. Since an edged portion 6a, which may cover the welded surface area 1a, is installed to the terminal portions 1 of the plurality of leads or the joints 6 along their ends in parallel, it is possible to prevent spatter 7 from scattering when they are welded. It is also possible to provide welding joint sections for leads capable of preventing the generation of operation troubles on a circuit caused by the sputter 7.

Description of the Related Art FIG. 5 is a view showing a structure of a welded joint portion of a conventional lead arranged in three parallels, for example, A is a front view, a plane view and a side view, and B is a perspective view thereof. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an end portion of a lead used for connection, and a partially projected projection 1b is applied to a welding interface 1a on the surface. Reference numeral 2 denotes a connecting portion of the connecting lead, which is installed so as to abut the welding interface 1a.

FIG. 6 shows the welding of the end portion 1 of the lead and the joint portion 2 of the connecting lead, and the welding electrode 3a.
And the welding receiving electrode 3b sandwich the end 1 of the lead and the vicinity of the projection 1b of the connecting portion 2 of the connecting lead, and press the welding electrode 3a against the connecting portion 2 of the connecting lead to apply current while welding the welding electrode 3a to welding. The projection 1b and the connecting portion 2 of the connection lead which is in contact with the projection 1b are melted and fused by flowing into the receiving electrode 3b. The lower part of the fusion is called Nugget 4. This state is shown in FIG. At this time, the connecting portion 2 of the connecting lead and the end portion 1 of the lead which are melted may be scattered around. This is referred to as welding dust here as spatter 5. It often occurs when welding conditions are inadequate, but when appropriate it may occur at a low rate. Normally, the spatter 5 is scattered in all directions from the interface between the lead end portion 1 and the connecting lead coupling portion 2, but since the lead end portion 1 and the connecting lead coupling portion 2 are pressed by the welding electrode 3a. In many cases, the thread-like material sandwiched between these remains in a form protruding from the interface.

Since the conventional welded joint portion of the lead is constructed as described above, if there is something that is desired to be electrically isolated adjacent to the direction in which the spatter is protruding, this is not possible. Since there is a possibility of electrical short circuit due to contact, it is necessary to confirm the presence or absence of spatter after welding, and in the case of confirmation failure, there is a problem that it becomes a factor of defectiveness and reduces reliability.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems. By preventing scattering of spatters, the occurrence of defects in electric circuits is eliminated, the load for confirming this is reduced, and reliability is reduced. The purpose of the invention is to obtain a welded joint portion of a lead that improves the property.

In the welded joint portion of the lead according to the present invention, the joint portion of the connection lead is brought into contact with the welding interface formed by the ends of a plurality of leads which are adjacently arranged in parallel and fixedly arranged in the circuit. Each of them is joined by electric resistance welding, and an edge portion formed so as to close the welding interface along the end in the parallel direction is provided at the end portion of the lead or the joint portion of the connecting lead.

EXAMPLES Example 1. Embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a view showing the structure of a welded joint portion of leads in a first embodiment of the present invention arranged in three parallels, for example, A is a front view, a plane view and a side view, and B is a perspective view thereof. In the figure, 1 is the same as the conventional one, and the description thereof is omitted. Reference numeral 6 denotes a connecting portion of the connecting lead, and both ends of the connecting lead arranged in parallel in the adjoining direction form bent edges 6a and are installed so as to correspond to the end portion 1 of the lead.

FIG. 2 shows welding of the end portion 1 of the lead and the joint portion 6 of the connecting lead, and the welding electrode 3a.
And the welding receiving electrode 3b sandwich the end portion 1 of the lead and the vicinity of the projection 1b of the connecting portion 6 of the connecting lead, and the welding electrode 3a is pressed against the connecting portion 6 of the connecting lead to apply a current to the welding electrode 3a to welding. The projection dowels 1b and the connecting portions 6 of the connecting leads that are in contact with the projection dowels 1b are melted and fused by flowing into the receiving electrodes 3b. This state is shown in FIG. The melted connecting portion 6 of the connecting lead and the lead end portion 1 become spatter 7 and try to scatter in the form of threads in the outside of the welding interface, but the edge portion 6a of the connecting portion 6 of the connecting lead prevents the scattering and scatters. is doing.

Embodiment 2. In the first embodiment described above, the bent portion 6a of the connecting lead 6 is provided to prevent the spatter 7 from scattering outside the welding interface. However, as shown in FIG. The same effect can be obtained by forming the edge portion 8a that prevents the spatter 7 from scattering by processing the contact surface with 2 to enter.

As described above, according to the present invention, the connecting portions of the connecting leads are brought into contact with the welding interfaces formed by the ends of the plurality of leads which are adjacently arranged in parallel and fixedly arranged in the circuit, and the electric resistance welding is performed on each of them. Since the edge of the lead or the connecting part of the connecting lead is provided with an edge formed so as to close the weld interface along the end in the parallel direction, scattering of spatter at the time of welding is prevented and a circuit due to spatter is formed. There is an effect that a welded joint portion of the lead capable of preventing the occurrence of the above defects is obtained.
