Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a wire rod coil from being spread and deformed during its transferring operation by bundling the wire rod coil wound after the rolling, inserting a binding material into the inner hollow part of the coil during transfer to a binder and binding the coil at one or more places in a direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A rolled wire rod wound in the form of a ring by a winder 1 is bundled in the form of a coil by a bundling device 2. Before the bundled coil 3 is transferred to and loaded on a transfer/loading device 6 for upsetting, transferring and loading the bundled coil, a binding material 5 is inserted into the inner hollow part of the bundled coil 3 to bind it at two places. Then, the wire rod coil 3 is transferred to a coil transferring jig 7 by the transfer/ loading device 6. According to this arrangement, the wire rod coil 3 can be prevented from being deformed and spread during its transferring operation.

た。図中4はセイルである。その後、線材コイル3を移
載機6にてコイル搬送治具7に移載し搬送したが、線材
コイルの搬送状態は図1(b)に記載したように番線5
よる結束によって、線材コイル搬送中のコイル変形・拡
がりを防止することが出来た。

成形方法によれば、搬送中の線材コイル変形・拡がりを
より確実に防止することが出来、かつ、従来技術の問題
点であったコイル搬送治具の波型部の変形・破損を、コ
イル搬送治具の波型部を平坦な構造に変更することによ
って解消出来るという効果を奏する。
