Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with applying an excess force when a safety cover is dismounted and to prevent an accident wherein a finger hits the apex of a syringe needle or a finger top is accidentally wound by penetration from occurring by mounting a lever giving an effect of a lever or a wedge. CONSTITUTION:A lever L is mounted on one end of a syringe cover main body B through a hinge H. The apex of the lever L is held by fingers F0 and F1 and it is mounted or dismounted on a syringe needle N. The syringe needle cover B is tightly inserted in a socket S of the syringe needle and when the syringe needle cover B is removed, fitting to the socket is relaxed by pushing the lever L at the top of a finger F5 as a support and the syringe needle cover B can be easily dismounted. A needle wound caused by handling mistake of the syringe needle N can be prevented thereby from occurring. As the lever exists, when the safety cover B or the syringe needle N mounted with the safety cover B is placed on a stage, it does not rotate and handling becomes easy.
