In the conventional internal combustion engine scooter, when the prime mover is first started during traveling and the traveling operation becomes possible, the prime mover continues to rotate at a low speed even when the vehicle is stopped. In order to maintain the so-called idling state, not only the driver but also the surrounding people can clearly confirm by hearing and tactile that the driving operation is possible by the operation sound and vibration of the prime mover. However, the electric scooter does not have an idling state like the internal combustion engine scooter, the operation noise and vibration of the motor itself are small, and the motor is completely stopped when the vehicle is stopped, so that the silent characteristic is high, It is difficult for the driver and people in the vicinity to intuitively determine whether or not the scooter is in a driving-ready state. Therefore, if the throttle of the electric scooter is carelessly operated due to the custom of the internal combustion engine scooter, a runaway accident may occur.

In order to prevent the above-mentioned accidents, conventionally, as mentioned above, a measure for erroneous operation is taken by embedding a switch under the seat. However, the above measures have a large influence (confusing) due to the difference in the sitting position of the driver. For example, even if the driver is in the correct driving posture, if the sitting position shifts slightly due to differences in physique, the motor will not operate, or if the driver lifts his / her waist from the seat while driving, the vehicle will suddenly move. It has been pointed out that it is dangerous because it is stopped or the driving force is intermittent.

Operation: The driver turns on the key switch 15 to turn the electric
When the vehicle is ready to run, the pilot lamp 8 mounted on the instrument panel 16 is turned on, and the driver operates the throttle to immediately move the scooter (motor) to the running operation. And visually alert or announce to people around. When the driver is not in the driving posture such as not sitting on the seat 11, this is detected by the switch 14 of the seat load detection unit. When the key switch 15 becomes operable in this state, a buzzer 17 is sounded to warn the driver, and the driver is audibly urged to board the vehicle or switch off the key switch 15 (FIG. 1). The buzzer 17's audible warnings effectively alert the driver and the surroundings wherever the eyes are directed. When the driver is seated in the seat and in the driving posture, the switch 1 is normally closed.
4 is off, and the pilot lamp 8 of the instrument panel 16 visually warns or announces that the vehicle is in a driving-ready state, and the driver is of course in a position to look at the instrument panel 16, so be careful. Is aroused. At this time, the buzzer 17 does not sound, so it does not interfere with driving or become a noise source. For this reason, the volume of the buzzer-17 is set to a sufficiently high volume necessary for calling attention.

The seat load detecting portion has a structure in which a seat 13 and a switch 14 are incorporated in the seat hinge 12 together with a downward acting spring 13, and the seat hinge 12 and the load detecting function are combined. The influence (misoperation) due to the difference in seating position is small, and the operation of the operation warning device is stable. In addition, even if the seat load is lost during driving, the buzzer 17 only sounds and the driving force does not suddenly turn on and off.
There is little danger while driving. Since the seat hinge 12 also has a function of detecting the seat load, it has an upper and lower degrees of freedom in addition to the original degree of freedom of rotation, but the upper and lower degrees of freedom are always restrained by the spring 13. Therefore, there is no rattling when the seat 11 is opened and closed, and the original hinge function is not impaired.

The buzzer 17 is for providing a warning to the driver and the people around him by hearing, and although not shown in detail, it is installed in the ft cowl 18. Buzzer
The volume of 17 is set to a volume that is large enough to alert the driver. The switch 14, which is a seat load detection unit, is a type of micro switch and detects the presence or absence of a seat load by turning on and off. As shown in FIG. 4, the switch 14 is attached to the seat hinge 12 of the seat 11. Seat hinge 12 is seat 11
It is provided at the front part of the vehicle, allows the seat 11 to rotate, and opens and closes the luggage box 9. The locking device 10 provided at the rear of the seat 11 locks the seat 11 in the closed state (see FIG. 2). The seat hinge 12 shown in FIG. 4 includes a fixed hinge piece 12a on the luggage box 9 side and a seat 11
Side movable hinge piece 12b, which are connected by a horizontal hinge shaft 12c. This sheet hinge 12
In addition to the original freedom of rotation, the fixed hinge piece 12
It also has a degree of freedom in the vertical direction in order to turn on and off the switch 14 incorporated by being fixedly attached to the a by the bracket 19. However, the above-mentioned degree of freedom in the vertical direction is restricted by incorporating the spring 13 acting downward, but when the driver sits on the seat 11 and takes a driving posture, the front part of the seat 11 sinks downward. The switch 14 is turned on. Thus, the seat hinge 12 has a structure that has the function of detecting the presence or absence of a seat load and the function of the hinge. And because of the above structure, no matter where the driver sits on the seat 11,
The switch 14 can be surely turned on and off to detect whether or not the driver is in a driving posture.

According to the driving operation warning device for an electric scooter according to the present invention, the electric power indicator (pilot lamp) 8 and the audible alarm generator (buzzer) 17 visually and aurally drive the electric scooter. The warning or notification of the operable state of the electric motor, unlike the internal combustion engine scooter, prevents accidents due to inadvertent throttle operation in an electric scooter that does not have a so-called idling state. That is, no matter where the eyes of the driver who is not in the driving posture and the surrounding people are facing, the audible warning is given by the sound of the warning sound generator (buzzer) 17, so that the attention is effectively called. It In addition, since the driver in the driving posture is visually warned or notified by the power source display unit (pilot lamp) 8,
Attention is effectively called. Moreover, in this state, buzzer-1
Since 7 is not pronounced, it does not interfere with driving and does not become a noise source. Further, the operation of the operation warning device is only a warning or a notification, and the driving force is not interrupted.
The accuracy of the data is secured and it contributes to the prevention of accidents.

However, the electric disk - motor, the internal combustion engine disk - no idling state, such as motor, motor - motor itself operation sound, vibration is small, at the time of vehicle stop mode - because of high completely stopped electrostatic property data However, it is difficult for the driver and people in the vicinity to intuitively judge whether or not the scooter is in a driving-enabled state. Therefore, the internal combustion engine
If you accidentally operate the throttle of an electric scooter due to the customs of a computer, a runaway accident may occur.
