Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as one of the methods for producing a sliding brush, a spacer 3 is sequentially welded to a multi-filament bundle 2 in which a large number of precious metal fine wires 1 are bundled as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 4, a sliding brush material 4 (tip brush) with a spacer 3 was used. However, during welding of the spacer, the ultrafine wire is softened by heat and softened or the crystal becomes coarse, and that part becomes the contact part of the sliding brush, and the contact characteristics, especially the initial characteristics, are extremely unstable. There was a fear of becoming. For this reason, the cutting part of the multi-wire bundle after welding is cut at a part that is away from the spacer and is not affected by heat. For this reason, it is not possible to minimize the amount of expensive precious metal ultrafine wire used, and waste. And the yield was poor.

Since it is then cut, a multi-wire bundle tip portion that is not affected by heat can be obtained with good yield. It should be noted that whether the tip of the multi-filament bundle of the sliding brush material is bent and then welded to the spring material, or whether the tip of the multi-filament bundle is bent and formed after welding the sliding brush material to the spring material is appropriately performed. Of course, or it can be used as a sliding brush without bending the tip of the multi-wire bundle.

% Pd35% Au10% Pt10% Cu14% Zn1%), wire diameter
The 0.08 mm precious metal ultrafine wires 1 are converged by 14 focusing jigs 7 and fed as a multifilament bundle 2, and the tip of the multifilament bundle 2 is positioned by the attaching jig 8 and the top surface of the lower electrode is concave. Material positioned and set in part 9 CuNi 30%, dimension 1.0 x
The spacer 3 having a projection of 0.2 × 10, width 0.16, and height 0.08 is resistance-welded with the lower electrode 10 and the upper electrode 11, and then cut with a cutter 12 to a length of 4.5 mm, as shown in FIG. A sliding brush material 4'was obtained. The same process was repeated to make 100 pieces.

Description of the Related Art Next, as a conventional example, as shown in FIG. 3, a wire material having the same material, wire diameter and number as the embodiment is focused by a focusing jig 13 and fed as a multi-wire bundle 2, and then the upper electrode of the lower electrode is concave. The spacer 3 having the same material and dimensions as those of the embodiment set and positioned in the portion 14 is electrically resistance welded and fed by the lower electrode 15 and the upper electrode 16, and then the spacer 3 is placed in the concave portion 18 on the upper surface of the cutter 17. The set multi-wire bundle 2 was cut into a length of 4.5 mm by a cutter 17 to obtain a sliding brush material 4 as shown in FIG. The same process was repeated to make 100 pieces. However, as a result of conducting a quality inspection and checking the presence or absence of the heat influence on the tip portion, the heat influence was confirmed in the conventional example, whereas the heat influence was not found in the embodiment.
