2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of metal crimp terminal, that is, FIG.
A tubular part (10a) for connecting the ends of the electric wires as shown in FIG.
The metal crimp terminal (10) provided with the connecting tongue piece (10b) for connecting to a desired device is manufactured by pressing a metal plate material. In this case, since the tubular portion (10a) is formed by bending the plate material upward and round, a groove (10c) having a V-shaped cross section is necessarily formed along the axial direction at the joint at the upper end thereof. Is done. Such a V-shaped groove (10c)
In the cross-sectional shape of the cylindrical part (10a), a scar is formed in a complete ring shape, and when the end of the electric wire is inserted into the cylindrical part (10a) and crimped from the outer periphery, the groove (10c) part separates right and left. Therefore, there has been a drawback that complete electrical and mechanical connection may not be achieved, so that silver wax (10d) has been poured into the groove (10c) in the past.

However, in order to use an automatic machine to fill the grooves of each crimp terminal with silver wax, it is necessary to arrange a large number of crimp terminals in a state in which the grooves are facing upward and to transfer the crimp terminals. The equipment and the robot mechanism for melting and pouring silver wax into the groove required a very expensive equipment. In addition, since the crimp terminal once manufactured by press working is poured with silver wax by secondary processing, workability is deteriorated and production cost is increased.

In addition, in the above conventional means, silver wax is
There is a problem that the material of the terminal is annealed and the hardness is deteriorated because the entire terminal is heated when the terminal is poured into the groove (10c). In particular, when the tongue piece (10b) is formed in a forked fork shape as shown in the figure, the left and right claws may be displaced up and down with horizontal accuracy during plating, packing, and transportation after brazing due to this hardness deterioration. Or, when the screws are tightened to the device, the distance between the right and left claws widens or deforms, so that not only the mechanical connection, but also the electric contact reduces the contact area and the current density. However, there has been a defect that a good connection state cannot be obtained.

Accordingly, a first object of the present invention is to provide a series of press working flow operations by incorporating means for pouring silver wax into grooves in a press working step of forming a crimp terminal from a metal plate material. Provided is a manufacturing method capable of mass-producing inexpensively a large number of crimping terminals having a wire connection tube portion in which a letter-shaped groove is filled with a melt-hardened silver wax and a tongue piece for connecting to a desired device by a series of processes. Is to do.

Further, a second object of the present invention is to form a wire connecting cylinder having a groove having a V-shaped cross section on a strip-shaped metal plate material in a chain shape, and cut into a predetermined dimension in the V-shaped groove. Insert the silver wax and melt the silver wax with a brazing device at a predetermined temperature,
Finally, the outer periphery of the tongue portion connected to the cylindrical portion is punched, so that the peripheral portion of the tongue of the crimp terminal material annealed for heating by the brazing device has a compressive and tensile action during the outer punching process. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing a crimp terminal formed with higher hardness than other parts.

According to the present invention, in a series of press working steps of a metal plate material, silver wax is heated and melted to fill a V-shaped groove (1c),
Finally, since the outer shape is removed to complete the product, the melting process of the silver wax can be automatically performed along the flow of the press working of the metal plate material, thereby forming a V-shaped groove.
It is possible to continuously mass-produce an excellent crimp terminal having an electric wire connection tube portion (1a) filled with a melt-hardened silver wax (1c) and a tongue piece (1b) for connection to a desired device. . In addition, the crimp terminal obtained in this manner has a peripheral part of the tongue piece punched out in the last step, although the hardness of the material has been deteriorated due to the entire material being annealed by heating in the brazing device. Since the hardness is higher than the other parts due to the compression and tensile action at the time of processing, the tongue piece is particularly formed in a forked fork shape, and the hardness of the peripheral part is increased. The left and right nail parts do not move up and down with horizontal accuracy during plating, packing and transportation after brazing, or the gap between the left and right nails does not expand or deform outward when tightening screws to equipment Thus, reliable electrical and mechanical bonding can be obtained.

The crimp terminal (1) thus obtained is
As shown in FIG. 7, the core wire tip (k) from which the coating of the wire (K) has been removed is inserted into the wire connection tube (1a), and the tube (1a) is crimped from the outer periphery to form the wire (K). The crimp terminal (1) is connected and used. At this time, since the V-shaped groove (1c) of the cylindrical portion (1a) is filled with the melt-hardened silver wax (2), the cylindrical portion (1a)
Is formed as a complete ring body with no notch in its cross-sectional shape, which ensures that the wire is securely connected without the groove being separated when the wire end is inserted into this cylinder and crimped from the outer periphery. You can do it. Particularly in the crimp terminal (1) of the present invention, the tongue piece (1b) whose outer shape was removed in the last step despite the fact that the entire material was annealed by heating in the brazing device and the hardness was deteriorated. Is formed such that the hardness of the peripheral portion is higher than that of the other portions by the compression and tensile action during punching.

As is apparent from the above description, the present invention heats and melts silver wax in a series of press working steps of a metal plate material to form a V-shaped groove in a cylindrical portion. Since the product is completed by embedding and then removing the outer shape, the melting process of silver wax can be automatically performed according to the flow of press working of the metal plate material, thereby forming a V-shaped groove. A crimp terminal having an electric wire connection tube filled with a melt-hardened silver wax and a connecting tip to a desired device can be continuously mass-produced by a simple device. In addition, in the crimp terminal obtained by the method of the present invention, despite the fact that the entire material is annealed due to the heating by the brazing device and the hardness is deteriorated, the peripheral portion of the tongue piece that has been cut out in the last step has It is formed with hardness higher than other parts due to compression and tensile action at the time of punching, so that the tongue piece part may be deformed during plating, packing, transportation, etc. after brazing or screwing to equipment Distortion is prevented, and there is an effect that an electrically and mechanically reliable bonding state can be obtained.

(2) is heated and melted to fill the V-shaped groove (1c), and then the metal sheet material (A) is fed into the second pressing device (D) to remove the outer shape, and the V-shaped groove (1c) is formed. Melt-hardened silver wax
A method for producing a crimp terminal, comprising: producing a crimp terminal (1) including a wire connection tube portion (1a) filled in by (2) and a tongue piece (1b) for connection to a desired device.
