Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable low temp. molding not deteriorating environment and not generating the thermal deterioration of the material of corrugated cardboard by applying corrugated cardboard impregnated with a diallyl phthalate resin. CONSTITUTION:Corrugated cardboard consists of a core 2 and the liners 3 bonded to both surfaces of the core 2 and is impregnated with 30wt.% of a liquid diallyl phthalate containing 0.5wt.% of benzoyl peroxide. The corrugated cardboard 1 is molded into a ceiling base material 4 of a car under molding conditions such that temp. is 150 deg.C and pressure is 2-3kg/cm<2> and a molding time is 30-90sec and the prepolymer is polymerized and cured by molding. A skin material 5 composed of synthetic leather or a nonwoven fabric is bonded to the surface of the ceiling base material by an adhesive or a hot-melt sheet to produce a ceiling material 6.

In the present invention, the diallyl phthalate resin is impregnated into the cardboard as a liquid or powdery monomer or prepolymer. At this time, a radical initiator such as benzoyl peroxide, lauryl peroxide, cumene hydroperoxide, azobisisobutyronitrile, or azobisvaleronitrile is used as a curing agent for the monomer or prepolymer with respect to the monomer or prepolymer. Usually, about 0.01 to 5% by weight is added. Further, amine, aniline, ascorbic acid, etc. may be added as a promoter together with the above radical initiator.

In the present invention, the above-mentioned diallyl phthalate resin is impregnated into the entire cardboard, only the liner of the cardboard, or only the core of the cardboard. Further, the liner and the core may be impregnated with the diallyl phthalate resin to form the cardboard, or the cardboard may be formed and then impregnated with the diallyl phthalate resin. The diallyl phthalate resin is usually 10 to 50% by weight, preferably 20 to 40% by weight of the cardboard.
It is impregnated with about wt%.

The cardboard (1) is heated by a press molding machine (7) as shown in FIG. 2 at a temperature of 150 ° C. and a pressure of 2 to 3 kg /.
It is molded on an automobile ceiling base material (4) under molding conditions of cm 2 and molding time of 30 to 90 seconds, and the prepolymer is polymerized and cured by the above molding. A surface material (5) made of synthetic leather, non-woven fabric or the like is adhered to the surface of the ceiling base material (4) with an adhesive, a hot melt sheet or the like to produce a ceiling material (6).

Further, since the cardboard has poor elongation, wrinkles or cracks may occur in the deep-drawn part, and when such wrinkles or cracks occur, they appear as irregularities on the surface of the ceiling material (6) and the appearance deteriorates. To do. In order to prevent this, as shown in FIG. 5, a material (8) whose thickness can be changed may be attached to at least the surface side of the cardboard (1). As the material, a non-woven fabric, a fiber material such as felt, a polyurethane foam sheet, a polyethylene foam sheet, a plastic foam sheet such as a polypropylene foam sheet, or the like is used.
