2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as cloth for cleaning, cotton velveteen, woven fabrics such as line flano, and pile knitted fabric such as human silk have been used.
On the other hand, many non-woven fabrics such as cotton and rayon and paper products are on the market as disposable products. Recently, products using ultrafine fibers have begun to appear on the market and are widely used in the field of precision instruments as differentiated products.

The conventionally used cotton velveteen, cotton furano, rayon, and cotton non-woven fabric have excellent hydrophilicity and can exert a wiper effect on water-based stains, but have little effect on oil-based stains, and These had a small wiper effect on micro oil stains adhered to precision instruments and the like. For the above reasons, products using various microfibers have recently been put on the market, and have excellent performance, particularly excellent microfiber wiping performance against micro oily stains and low lint. As a result, it has grown significantly as a wiper in the precision equipment field. However, since these microfiber-based products are expensive, they have not been used in a wide range of fields. Since products using these microfibers are inherently hydrophobic, it is difficult to apply water or detergent, and the applied water remains on the surface of the object to be polished or water that adheres to the surface of the object. Was difficult to remove, and there was a problem in use in a wet state.

Therefore, when it is used for cleaning, it is a sheet excellent in its wiping performance, in particular, wiping property against micro oil stains, and can be used in a wet or dry state, and it is very suitable for the surface of an object to be polished. It has been strongly desired to develop a non-woven fabric for cleaning that easily adheres to the surface of an object and does not damage the surface of the object. As a nonwoven fabric having both hydrophilicity and lipophilicity as described above, the inventors of the present invention have found that it does not use 4-33.
No. 686, a lipophilic layer made of polyolefin fine ultra-short fibers and polyester ultra-fine short fibers of 0.5 denier or less and a hydrophilic layer made of rayon short fibers or cotton fibers are entangled and integrated. Since a part of the fibers of the hydrophilic layer is exposed on the surface of the lipophilic layer, it exerts an excellent wiping effect against micro oil stains and strong oil stains, and even in the wet state. But I proposed a non-woven fabric that can be used.

However, the method disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 4-33686 is a method of intertwining a layer of a lipophilic non-woven fabric and a layer of a hydrophilic non-woven fabric,
Since two layers of lipophilicity and hydrophilicity are produced, the cost is high, and since the layers are entangled, it is difficult to develop a completely entangled state between the hydrophilic fiber and the lipophilic fiber. Had.

The present inventors have arrived at the present invention as a result of extensive studies to solve the above problems. That is, the present invention provides a polypropylene and polyester fiber having a modified cross section of 0.5d or less, which is an oleophilic component,
A non-woven fabric composed of fibers obtained by mixing 0 to 70% by weight with a hydrophilic component such as cotton or rayon fibers, and the individual short fibers constituting the non-woven fabric are three-dimensionally strongly entangled with each other. [0007] Further, a split web containing hydrophilic fibers such as cotton or rayon is formed without splitting the splittable fiber containing a lipophilic component, and then a high-pressure jet of water or the like is used to form a mixed web.
A second gist is a method for producing a non-woven fabric for cleaning, characterized in that the split type fiber is split and at the same time, the hydrophilic fiber and the split lipophilic fiber are entangled.

The first important point in the present invention is that the cotton or rayon fiber having excellent hydrophilicity and the polypropylene having excellent lipophilicity are mixed and entangled, so that excellent wiping performance for both oily stains and aqueous stains can be obtained. It is effective and can be used in dry and wet conditions.
Further, by using the microfiber of 0.5d or less, the non-woven fabric is soft and has excellent drape property, and easily fits in the hand. Further, the wiping performance is improved by the increase of the surface area by the microfibers, and at the same time, the sheet strength of the non-woven fabric is further improved, and further, the effect of suppressing the generation of fiber waste (lint) in the non-woven fabric is obtained.

Further, by using the modified cross-section fiber, there are advantages that the adhesion to an object is further increased as compared with the round cross-section fiber, and the wiping effect is improved by the edge effect of the modified cross-section. In addition, the use of this atypical cross-section microfiber has a great advantage that the entanglement with cotton and / or rayon is improved, the sheet physical properties are improved, and a soft nonwoven fabric excellent in drapability is obtained.

What is important for this nonwoven fabric is the mixing ratio of the ultrafine fibers of 0.5 d or less, and the mixing ratio is required to be 20 to 70% by weight. When the mixing ratio of the ultrafine fibers is 20% or less, the wiping performance for oily stains is deteriorated and the nonwoven fabric is inferior in drape property. On the other hand, when the mixing ratio of the ultrafine fibers is 70% or more, the surface of the non-woven fabric becomes a type in which the fibers are covered with hydrophobic fibers, resulting in a decrease in hydrophilicity and an effect on hydrophilic stains, and use in a wet state. Then there may be problems. The mixing ratio is 40-6 for ultrafine fibers.
The most suitable is a mixture of 60% to 40% rayon and / or cotton with respect to 0%.

The method for producing ultrafine fibers according to the present invention is as follows:
It is obtained by composite spinning of two kinds of thermoplastic polymer components having poor adhesion to each other, that is, heterogeneous fibers such as polypropylene and polyester, by a nozzle as shown in FIG. In addition, the nonwoven fabric of the present invention is prepared by mixing such spun splittable conjugate fibers of 2 to 3d into short fibers, then mixing them with rayon or cotton, and further supplying them to a carding step to form a sheet, and then a sheet. The most suitable method is to use a jet fluid of pressure to divide the fibers and at the same time firmly entangle the short fibers three-dimensionally.

EXAMPLES Next, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to Examples. Example 1 Polypropylene and polyester are spun by the nozzle shown in FIG. 2 to obtain split type conjugate fibers (16 splits) of 2d × 38 mm. This short fiber and rayon (1.5d × 51 mm) short fiber were mixed in a weight ratio of 1: 1 and then 60 g / in open fiber → card → crosslay

By applying a liquid columnar flow of 00 kg / cm 2 from both sides of the web, the splittable conjugate fiber is split, and at the same time, the constituent short fibers are strongly entangled with each other to obtain a three-dimensional entangled nonwoven fabric. Since the non-woven fabric obtained by the above method had very good fiber entanglement, it had little fiber waste (lint), was soft and rich in drapeability, and was also excellent in strength. The results of evaluating the wiper performance using the nonwoven fabric obtained as described above are shown in Table 1. As shown in Table 1, the effect of the present invention was very excellent. Also, when the keyboard part of the word processor was wiped off with the non-woven fabric soaked with detergent, the stains could be removed very easily. The soiled non-woven fabric also had the advantage that it could be washed and used repeatedly, and it was also excellent in durability.

A non-woven fabric was obtained by the liquid columnar flow treatment. When this non-woven fabric is used as a cosmetic puff, it exhibits outstanding wiping properties compared to conventional cotton puffs, wipes off oil and cosmetics quickly, and has a soft texture that gives it an excellent feeling on the skin. Was completed. Further, this puff had good water absorption and could be used in both wet and dry states.
