本考案はシリアルプリンタに関し、特にドットインパクト印字ヘッドによって 印字を行うシリアルプリンタに関する。

【従来の技術】
ドットインパクト印字ヘッドによって印字を行う従来のシリアルプリンタは、 ドットインパクト印字ヘッドの打撃力を最大限に利用するため、金属製のプラテ ンを使用している。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
上述したように、ドットインパクト印字ヘッド（印字ヘッド）によって印字を 行う従来のシリアルプリンタは、金属製のプラテンを使用しているが、印字ヘッ ドの印字ピンがインクリボンおよび印字媒体を介してプラテンと衝突するとき、 インクリボンおよび印字媒体が薄いため、印字ピンとプラテンとが直接に衝突す るときと同等の状態となり、大きな騒音を発生するという欠点を有している。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案のシリアルプリンタは、複数本の印字ピンを有しそれらを選択的に動作 させて印字動作を行う印字ヘッドと、前記印字ヘッドに対向して設けられ金属製 のプラテン基部の上面にゴム製の薄い騒音吸収部材を貼付したプラテンとを備え ている。

次に、本考案の実施例について図面を参照して説明する。

【０００７】 本実施例は、図１に示すように、複数本の印字ピンを有し、それらを選択的に 動作させて印字を行う印字ヘッド３と、印字ヘッド３に対向して設けられ、印字 ヘッド３との間にインクリボンおよび印字媒体（いずれも図示省略）を介在させ て印字ピンの打撃を受けることによって印字を行うプラテン４とを備えている。 プラテン４は、金属製のプラテン基部１の上面に、ゴム製の薄い騒音吸収部材２ を貼付したものである。
【０００８】 このように構成することにより、印字動作のとき、印字ヘッド３の印字ピンは 、金属製のプラテン基部１を直接打撃せず、騒音吸収部材２を介して打撃するた め、打撃時の騒音が減少する。しかし、騒音吸収部材２の厚さが薄いため、印字 ピンの打撃力が減殺されることはなく、複数枚の複写を行う印字媒体に対しても 充分に印字を行うことができる。

【考案の効果】
以上説明したように、本考案のシリアルプリンタは、金属製のプラテン基部の 上面にゴム製の薄い騒音吸収部材を貼付したプラテンを使用することにより、印 字のときの騒音を減少させ、しかも複写印字を行うことができるという効果があ る。

  1. 【請求項１】 金属製のプラテン基部の上面にゴム製の
    薄い騒音吸収部材を貼付したプラテンを備えることを特
    徴とするシリアルプリンタ。
  2. 【請求項２】 複数本の印字ピンを有しそれらを選択的
    に動作させて印字動作を行う印字ヘッドと、前記印字ヘ
    ッドに対向して設けられ金属製のプラテン基部の上面に
    ゴム製の薄い騒音吸収部材を貼付したプラテンとを備え
    ることを特徴とするシリアルプリンタ。
