Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a flyer which is divided to independently functioning plural blocks, provides the function units of the same kinds with independently controllable discrete drives in the respective blocks, connects all the drives to a control computer and is capable of interrupting production by avoiding the shutdown of the entire part. CONSTITUTION: The flyer having an eccentric drive system is divided to the mutually independently functioning plural blocks S1 to Sn. The discrete drives A11 to An6 for a bobbin wheel SWP, for stretching rolls SW1 to SW3, for a spinning wing SF and for a sliver bobbin SP are installed in the respective blocks S1 to Sn. These drives A11 to An6 are respectively independently controllable in association with the other drives of the corresponding blocks. All the drives A11 to An6 are connected to the host control computer L via lower computers B1 to Bn, by which the productivity of the flyer is improved while the shutdown of the entire part of the flyer is averted at the time of the interruption of the production.
