Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the frequency of a VCO with use of a small number of elements and to convert a sound signal into plural sound FM signals of different frequency by using a fixed oscillator used for a test signal generator which produces the video signals to a part of a PLL circuit. CONSTITUTION:A VCO consists of a BPF 16, an amplifier 17, and a capacitor 18. A PLL circuit consists of a VCO 14, a programmable divider 19, an oscillator 13, a phase comparator 20, and a smoothing circuit 21. The center frequency of the VCO 14 is locked to the frequency of the oscillator 13 and then modulated by a sound signal. The oscillator 15 can use a fixed oscillator which is built in an RF modulator for PAL end used for 8 test signal.
