However, since this conventional decorative board has a two-layer structure consisting of natural fine stones fixed on a synthetic resin sheet, it is extremely insufficient in strength and is prone to cracking and distortion, as well as warping due to heat effects. was likely to occur, making it unsuitable for practical use.

In addition, the manufacturing method is to place a thermoplastic synthetic resin plate in a mold, arrange natural fine stones on top of it, and heat it to integrate the synthetic resin plate and fine stones, making it easier to work. , manufacturing efficiency is poor, making it unsuitable for mass production and resulting in high costs. Also, since different molds must be used for each size,
Workability becomes worse and equipment costs increase. Furthermore, due to mold restrictions, the dimensions of the decorative board are limited to a small range, which limits its uses.

In this way, since it has a multilayer structure with the fine stone sheet as the core, it basically has superior mechanical strength compared to the conventional two-layer structure. Furthermore, since the surface of the fine stone sheet is covered with a cover sheet, it has high wear resistance. Furthermore, a reinforcing sheet made of non-thermo-stretchable material such as glass non-woven fabric,
Thermal expansion and contraction of the fine stone sheet is stopped and it becomes highly dimensionally stable.

Further, the method for manufacturing a decorative board according to the second invention includes:
A long fine stone sheet body in which a thermoplastic synthetic resin sol is applied to an almost even thickness on a release sheet that is continuously fed in a fixed direction, and a large number of natural fine stones are temporarily fixed on this sol layer. After cutting this fine stone sheet body and peeling off the release sheet to obtain a fine stone sheet of a certain length, a transparent or translucent cover made of thermoplastic synthetic resin is placed on top of this fine stone sheet. Place the sheet under the fine stone sheet,
A colored sheet made of thermoplastic synthetic resin, a reinforcing sheet made of non-thermo-stretchable material such as glass non-woven fabric, and a shape-retaining sheet made of thermoplastic synthetic resin are laminated in order from the top to form a laminate. By heating and pressurizing the laminate, the fine stones in the fine stone sheet are embedded and fixed on the surface of the sheet base material, and the front side of the fine stone sheet is covered with a cover sheet, and the lower layer of the fine stone sheet is provided with a colored sheet, a reinforcing sheet, A decorative board is obtained by laminating and fixing shape-retaining sheets.

In this way, since the long fine stone sheet body is continuously formed and cut to obtain the fine stone sheet which is the core of the decorative laminate according to the first invention, the production efficiency of the decorative laminate is greatly improved and mass production is possible. This method is advantageous in terms of workability and cost because it eliminates the need for a mold for molding fine stone sheets. Furthermore, it is not subject to size restrictions due to molds, and can be manufactured in various sizes depending on various uses.

is pressed against the sheet base material 1a, so that the fine stones 1b... are pressed against the base material 1a as shown in FIG.
It is embedded in a and is permanently fixed. In this case, since the cushion material 10 applies pressure evenly over the entire surface of the fine stone sheet 1 along the unevenness thereof, the unevenness on the surface of the fine stone sheet caused by the fine stones 1b remains as is even after the pressure is applied. In other words, the fine stones 1b are not completely immersed into the sheet base material 1a due to the pressing force, and the surface does not become smooth, so that the natural visual and tactile sensation of a rugged gravel wall can be obtained.

Further, by heating and pressurizing, the sheet base material 1a of the fine stone sheet 1 and the colored sheet 6 are brought together via the adhesive film 5, and the reinforcing sheet 7 is interposed between the colored sheet 6 and the shape-retaining sheet 8. In this way, a decorative board P having a multilayer structure having the fine stone sheet 1 as a core as shown in FIG. 2 is manufactured. This decorative board P is cut around its periphery, and is also cut into pieces of appropriate size as shown in FIG. 3 depending on the intended use.

As described above, this decorative board P is a multi-layered structure in which the fine stone sheet 1 is the core, the colored, reinforcing, and shape-retaining sheets 6, 7, and 8 are laminated and fixed on the lower side, and the upper side is covered with the cover sheet 9. Because of its structure, it basically has superior mechanical strength compared to conventional decorative boards that simply have fine stones fixed to a synthetic resin board, is less prone to cracking and distortion, and has excellent abrasion resistance and peeling resistance of fine stones 1b... By the way, in order to take advantage of the unevenness of the surface of the fine stone layer and create a natural feel during heating and pressurization, the cushion material 10 is interposed between the cover sheet 9 and the metal plate 11 as in the above embodiment. However, if a smooth surface is more suitable for the purpose, pressure may be applied directly with the metal plate 11. Further, the adhesive film 5 may be used only when it is desired to strengthen the thermal adhesion between the fine stone sheet 1 and the colored sheet 6. On the other hand, in the manufacturing process of the fine stone sheet 1, the means for applying PVC sol to the release sheet 2, and the fine stone 1b to the PVC sol layer 1a 1 .
The means for supplying... may be changed as appropriate other than the means using the hoppers 3 and 4 shown in the above embodiment. Furthermore, as the thermoplastic synthetic resin used for the sheet base material 1a of the fine stone sheet 1, etc., materials other than PVC may be used.

In addition, when using the method of the present invention, the fine stone sheet is not manufactured using a mold as in the conventional method, but a sol of thermoplastic synthetic resin is applied to a release sheet that moves continuously in a certain direction, and this Continuous molding is possible through the continuous process of supplying fine stones to the sol layer, heating, cooling, and cutting into a certain length.
The production efficiency of the decorative board is greatly improved, mass production is increased, and a mold for forming the fine stone sheet is not required, which is very advantageous in terms of workability and cost. In addition, products of various sizes can be manufactured according to various uses without being subject to size restrictions due to molds.

By constructing a laminate and heating and pressurizing this laminate, the fine stones in the fine stone sheet are embedded and fixed on the surface of the sheet base material, the front side of the fine stone sheet is covered with a cover sheet, and the lower layer of the fine stone sheet is A method for producing a decorative board, which comprises obtaining a decorative board by laminating and fixing a colored sheet, a reinforcing sheet, and a shape-retaining sheet.
