As a mold device for injection molding this molding, the device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 57-158481 or Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 62-218218 is known. This device holds the glass plate between upper and lower molds so that the periphery of the glass plate faces the cavity formed between the molds, and molds the mold by injecting raw resin into this cavity. In particular, when holding a glass plate, a clamp made of an elastic material provided in a mold is pressed against the glass plate.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the conventional mold device described above, the clamp also functions as a seal that defines a part of the cavity, so it is difficult to prevent the molding material from entering the cavity. When injected, the molding and the clamp adhere to each other after curing, making it difficult to separate and resulting in poor appearance.

In addition, curved glass plates have less bending precision than steel plates or resin plates, so when forming a molding around the periphery of curved glass plates, an elastic clamp must be pressed against the glass plate due to the difference in shape between the mold and the glass plate. Even when held, the glass plate may be damaged.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a gap between the surface of the plate glass and the mold to the extent that mold raw materials do not enter between the cavity for forming the mold and the elastic clamp for holding the plate glass. The plate glass is preferably held at spots with elastic clamps.

(Function) Since there is a gap between the cavity and the elastic clamp, the molding raw material injected into the cavity will not adhere to the elastic clamp, and even if there is a shape error between the mold and the glass plate, it will not adhere to the entire circumference. Since the plate glass is not held in place, there is no chance of damage to the glass plate.

The mold device consists of a fixed mold 1, movable molds 2, 2, and a slide mold 3 that can freely move forward and backward between the movable molds 2 and 2. When the molds are clamped, molding is performed between the fixed mold 1 and the movable mold 2. A cavity 4 is formed therein, and in a portion located inside the cavity 4, the fixed mold 1 and the sliding mold 3 are provided with clamps 5 for pressing and holding the upper and lower surfaces of the plate glass G.

The clamp 5 is made of an elastic material such as Teflon, polyacetal or hard urethane, and the clamp 5 is made of an elastic material such as Teflon, polyacetal or hard urethane.
The clamps 5 are not provided along the entire circumference of the glass plate G along the inner periphery of the glass plate G, but are provided at three locations on the top and bottom in order to press the corners of the glass plate G in spots, and the pressing area of each clamp 5 is, for example, 1.5 to 15 cm 2 It is said that Also, the number of clamps 5 is not limited to three, for example
The number may be about 12, as long as the number does not apply excessive stress to the plate glass G when the mold is clamped.

Further, a gap 6 is provided between the cavity 4 and the clamp 5. This gap 6 is formed between the surface of the plate glass and the inner surface of the mold, and has a size that prevents the molding raw material injected into the cavity 4 from entering. Specifically, the gap 6 on the outside of the vehicle is about 0.01 to 0.05 mm, and the gap 6 on the indoor side is about 0.02 to 0.1 mm.

In the above, a mold clamping force that can sufficiently withstand the resin pressure acting inside the cavity 4, for example,
The mold is clamped with a force of 200 to 300 tons, the peripheral edge of the plate glass G held by the clamp 5 is exposed into the cavity 4, and a molding raw material is injected into the cavity 4 to form a molding on the peripheral edge of the plate glass G.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the present invention, when forming a molding, the molding, plate glass, and clamp do not adhere to each other, and the boundary line between the molding and the glass can be clearly drawn. No burrs or the like occur.

In addition, since the clamps that hold the glass plate are elastic, the glass plate is not easily damaged when the mold is clamped, and the molten resin is placed between the cavity and the clamp, and is formed between the surface of the glass plate and the inner surface of the mold. Since the inflow is blocked between the parts, the high-temperature molten resin does not come into contact with the elastic clamp. Furthermore, since a distance equal to the length between the ends of the high-temperature molten resin and the elastic clamp is maintained, the ends are not easily affected by heat.

Furthermore, by using a plurality of clamps as rod-shaped bodies and pressing key points such as the corners of the glass plate in spots, the glass plate will not be damaged during mold clamping.
