Abstract

PURPOSE:To favorably form the title pouring port with improved yield and quality by heating and softening a pouring port forming part of a glass vessel having an inwardly tilted opening edge followed by raising the part from inside to make a preliminary forming. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a preliminarily forming member 6 is held at a waiting position A using a preliminarily forming equipment 10 for pouring port and a locally heated glass vessel 1 is moved and set up to a specified position with a turntable 8. Second, the member 6 is made to descend to a position B through a vertical cylinder 15 and a rod 16. Third, the member 6 is moved to a position C through a horizontal cylinder 17 and a rod 18 and a preliminarily forming plate 6b is brought into contact, from inside, with the locally heated and softened part 1b of an opening edge 1a. Fourth, the member 6 is raised from the position C to a position D to raise the softened part 1b with the forming plate 6b to make a preliminary forming. Thence, the vessel 1 is moved to a specified position with a turntable 8 to normally form a pouring port, thus producing a glass vessel with the pouring port.

2. Description of the Related Art Molding of a spout of a blow-molded glass container such as a beaker is carried out by locally heating the upper opening edge of the glass container to soften it and extruding the softened portion from the inside to the outside. Such a spout is formed so as to have a stable shape so that no wrinkles are generated on the molding surface, but depending on the type of glass container, it may be difficult to form the spout as described above.

For example, referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, the operation procedure of the spout forming process of the glass container (1) will be described.
The glass container (1) shown in FIG. 6 is a bottomed cylindrical container.
The upper part integrally has an opening edge (1a) inclined inward. The glass container (1) is positioned and mounted on the horizontal stage (2), and the portion of the opening edge (1a) where the spout is to be formed is locally heated by the heating burner (3) to soften it. After heating, the softened portion (1b) of the opening edge (1a) is extruded to the outside by a plate-shaped molding member (4) as shown by the chain line in FIG. 7 to form the spout (1c).

The glass container (1) is intermittently conveyed to a heating position and a spout molding position by a turntable or the like, and the opening edge (1a) is heated at the heating position.
Is locally heated and the opening edge (1
A spout is formed in the locally heated softening part (1b) of a). By the way, while the glass container (1) moves from the heating position to the spout molding position, the locally heated softened portion (1b) of the inclined opening edge (1a) may hang down by its own weight. The molding member (4) does not normally come into contact with the softened portion (1b) that hangs down in this way, and as a result, the molded spout (1c) has a defective shape. It may disappear.

Therefore, in order to prevent the softened portion (1b) of the glass container (1) that is locally heated from hanging down, the glass container (1) is held laterally or obliquely and partially heated. Has been done. However, in this case, there is a problem that the mechanism for holding the glass container (1) sideways or obliquely and conveying it by a turntable or the like becomes complicated, and the manufacturing equipment cost increases.

Next, the spout preforming operation of the glass container by the spout preforming device (10) will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, when the preforming member (6) is in the standby position A,
A glass container (1) that is locally heated is carried directly below. Then, the vertical cylinder (15) first operates to lower the rod (16) and lower the preforming member (6) to the position B shown by the chain line in FIG. Then the horizontal cylinder (1
7) actuates to move the rod (18) forward, swing the vertical cylinder (15) forward in the X direction, and move the preforming member (6).
2 to the forward position C indicated by the solid line in FIG. The preforming plate (6b) of the preforming member (6) at the forward position C
Touches or comes very close to the locally heated softened portion (1b) of the opening edge (1a) of the glass container (1) from the inside. In this case, the preformed plate (6) of the preformed member (6)
Since b) approaches the inside of the softened portion (1b) by performing a circular arc motion in a slightly upward direction, even if the inclined softened portion (1b) hangs down a little, it is preformed so as to correct this sagging. The plate (6b) moves smoothly inside the softened portion (1b). Next, the rod (16) is retracted by the vertical cylinder (15) to raise the preforming member (6) from the forward movement position C to the position D just above, as shown in FIG. At the time of this rise, the tip of the preforming plate (6b) raises the softened portion (1b) of the glass container (1) to preform the softened portion (1b) substantially flush with the side wall of the glass container (1). The preformed member (6) which has been preformed is

Is returned to the original standby position A.

FIG. 3 is a view for explaining a modified example of the preforming member (6), which is a preforming member (6) having a rectangular preforming plate (6c) projecting from the side surface of the main body (6a). .. In this case, the preforming member (6) is moved from the standby position A to B-C.
-Move downward, forward, backward, and ascend in the order B-A.
In other words, descending from the standby position A in FIG. 3A to the position B,
When advanced to the advance position C shown in FIG. 3B, the vertical tip surface of the preforming plate (6c) presses the softened portion (1b) of the opening edge (1a) of the glass container (1) from the inside. Raised and preformed so that the softened portion (1b) is along the side wall of the glass container (1). Preformed preformed member (6)
Moves from the forward position C to the position B and rises to the standby position A. Such movement of the preformed member (6) can be easily performed only by changing the operation order of the cylinders (15) and (16) in FIG.

As described above, the glass container (1) preformed at the sixth position P 6 is It is sent to the 7-position P 7 and the spout (1c) is molded. The pour spout molding device (30) at the seventh position P 7 is, for example, as shown in FIG.
Forming roller (31) as shown in Fig.
A drive mechanism (32) for moving back and forth in the X direction is provided. When the preformed glass container (1) is carried into the seventh position P 7 , the forming roller (31) descends inside the opening edge (1a) of the glass container (1) and moves forward in the X direction as it is. The preformed softened portion (1) of the opening edge (1a).
b) is extruded to the outside to form a spout (1c) as shown in FIG. By changing the advancing angle and the advancing direction of the forming roller (31) in the X direction by the drive mechanism (32), the forming angle θ of the spout (1c) is adjusted. In such molding of the spout (1c), the softening portion (1b), which is a spout molding processing portion of the glass container (1), is formed into the spout (1).
Since the step c) is performed after preforming so that the forming process is easy, it can always be performed well.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, the portion of the opening edge of the glass container where the spout is formed is locally softened by heating and the heat-softened portion is raised from the inside of the glass container for preforming, so that the softened portion is poured. The mouth does not hang down during the main forming process, and the spout can always be favorably formed on the inclined opening edge of the glass container, which has the effect of improving the yield and quality of the glass container production.
