(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a water-based pigment ink for ballpoint pens, and more specifically, it relates to a water-based pigment ink for ballpoint pens that has good ink flow during writing and does not cause disturbances in handwriting such as skipping or flickering. be. (Prior art and its problems) Conventionally, dyes have been used as colorants for ballpoint pen inks, but in recent years, pigments have been used as colorants for ballpoint pen inks to improve the water resistance and light resistance of handwriting. It became. However, when ink containing pigments is used in a ballpoint pen, the ink has poor wettability with the ball surface, resulting in poor ink ejection and irregularities in handwriting, such as ``line skipping'' and ``repelling,'' where the writing line is interrupted. There was a problem with this happening. (Objective of the Invention) The present invention aims to improve the wettability of the ink and the ball surface without impairing the dispersibility of the pigment ink, thereby improving ink flow. The purpose is to prevent irregular handwriting such as skipping or popping. (Means of the Invention) The present inventors have completed the present invention as a result of intensive research to solve the above problems, and the gist thereof is: Pigment; Polymer dispersant; Water; Total amount of ink. This is an aqueous pigment ink for ballpoint pens, which comprises at least 0.6 to 5% by weight of a higher alcohol sulfate ester salt. (Structure of the Invention) As the pigment used in the present invention, all commercially available pigments can be used, and specifically, azo-based, anthraquinone-based, condensed polyazo-based, thioindigo-based, metal complex salt-based, and phthalocyanine-based pigments can be used. , organic pigments such as perinone-perylene series, dioxazine series, and quinacridone series, inorganic pigments such as carbon black, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, brass powder,
Metal powder pigments such as aluminum powder, fluorescent pigments, etc. can be used, and the amount used is 3 to 30% of the total amount of ink.
20% by weight is desirable. These pigments can be used alone or in combination of two or more. Examples of polymeric dispersants include proteins such as gelatin, albumin, and casein, natural gums such as gum arabic and gum tragacanth, glucosides such as saponin, cellulose derivatives such as methylcellulose, carboxycellulose, and hydroxymethylcellulose, lignin sulfonates, and ceramics. Natural polymers such as polyacrylates, salts of styrene-acrylic acid copolymers, salts of vinylnaphthalene-maleic acid copolymers, salts of β-naphthalene-acrylic acid copolymers, styrene-maleic acid copolymers One or more types of anionic polymers such as sodium salts of vinylnaphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensates, phosphates, and nonionic polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, and polyethylene glycol. The amount used is based on the total amount of ink.
0.5-20% by weight is preferred. Next, as the higher alcohol sulfate ester salt which is the gist of the present invention, the alkyl group of the higher alcohol sulfate ester is octyl, nonyl, decyl, undecyl, dodecyl, tridecyl, tetradecyl, pentadecyl, hexadecyl, heptadecyl, octadecyl, nonadecyl, eicosyl and butenyl. , hexenyl, oleyl, etc. Salts include alkali metals such as lithium, sodium, and potassium, ammonium, alkylamines such as methylamine and ethylamine, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, and N,N dimethylethanolamine. ,N,N
Alkanolamines such as diethylethanolamine, propanolamine, butanolamine, and their adducts with ethylene oxide and butylene oxide can be used. The amount used is preferably 0.6 to 5% by weight based on the total amount of ink. If it is less than 0.6% by weight, the ink flow will not be improved, and if it is more than 5% by weight, the pigment dispersion will become unstable and it will aggregate. In addition, water-soluble organic solvents such as ethylene glycol, glycerin, rust preventive agents, antifungal agents, and the like can be used as necessary. (Action of the invention) Why does the ink of the present invention have good ink flow?
The following can be inferred as to whether handwriting disturbances such as line skipping or splashing occur. Higher alcohol sulfate ester salt is a type of anionic surfactant, and due to the specificity of its sulfur atoms, it is expected to be adsorbed on the ball surface and improve the wettability between the ink and the ball surface. It is thought that by improving the wettability between the ink and the ball surface, the ink flows smoothly through the batting and relay core as the ball rotates during writing, resulting in improved ink flow. In addition, as a result of the improved wettability of the ball surface, the ink layer on the ball surface becomes uniform, and the surface tension of the ink itself is lowered, which prevents irregularities in handwriting such as skipping and flickering. It is thought that this will no longer occur. (Example) Examples of the present invention will be shown below, and "parts" in the examples indicate "parts by weight." Example 1 Carbon black (C.I77265) 8.0 parts Diyoncryl J62 (sodium salt of butyl acrylate-acrylic acid copolymer, manufactured by Jeonson Co., Ltd.)

After dispersing for 6 hours, coarse particles were removed by filtration to obtain a red ink. Comparative Example 4 A blue ink was obtained in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the amount of ammonium salt of octylalcohol sulfate was increased to 6.0 parts and the amount of water was reduced by 2.0 parts. (Effects of the Invention) The water-based pigment inks for ballpoint pens obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples were filled into ballpoint pens using stainless steel tips and carbide balls, and tested for ink flow, handwriting condition, and dispersion stability. It became like that.
