イ 発明の目的
(産業上の利用分野)
本発明は、金属を加工する鋸の構成刃先形成方
法。詳しくは、回転研削ブラシにより鋸歯の刃先
を適度に摩耗させることにより、構成刃先の形成
を迅速に行わせる方法に関するものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION A. 込み過ぎるため刃が欠け、一枚の刃が欠けると後
の刃も連鎖的に欠けて全く挽材能力を失つてしま
う結果となるから、研磨した刃先に材料を軽く押
し付けて刃先を材料への食い込みを生じない程度
に潰す馴らし運転を行い、その後に挽材を行う
と、刃が欠けず、潰した刃先部分に切削材料の粉
末が溶着して、いわゆる構成刃先を形成するた

しかし前記のように馴らし運転により、鋸歯の
刃先を潰して構成刃先を形成する場合は、材料の
種類によつて歯の潰れ具合が大きく異なり、
50C,45C、ステンレス等の硬質材料の場合は、
比較的短い時間で刃が潰れて構成刃先の形成が行
われるが、SS41,SS材等の軟質のものは半日馴
らし運転を行なつても構成刃先が形成されない問

た鋸歯2へその背部より掛けて、前記刃先イを僅
かに潰し、この部分へ切削材料粉末の付着による
構成刃先ハを速やかに形成させる方法によつて前
記した従来の問題点を解決するものである。B. (作用)
前記した本発明の方法で、鋸歯に構成刃先を形
成する場合は、回転研磨ブラシBを研磨線条3の
先端が鋸歯2の刃先イを研削する位置に配置し
て、駆動軸5により第1図において矢印の方向へ
回転させ、この回転研磨ブラシBに対して、鋸1
を矢印の方向へ送ると鋸歯2の刃先イは、回転研
磨ブラシBにより刃先イを歯背ロ側から刃先イへ
向かつて研削するため、鋸歯2の刃先イは第3図
に示すように材料への食い込みを生じないように
次々に潰されて、鋸1が一巡すると全部の鋸歯2
の刃先イが潰されるから、このとき刃潰しの操作
を終了し、鋸1を鋸機(図面省略)にセツトし挽
材わ行えば、鋸歯2は材料への食い込みを生じる
ことなくこれを切削し、切削に伴つて生じる切削
材料の粉末を刃先に付着させて、硬質で耐久性に

ぎて、刃の欠けを生じるから、第2図に示すよう
に合成樹脂aに砥粒bを混合して形成した研磨線
条3を芯体4の周りに環状に取り付けて形成した
回転研磨ブラシBを駆動軸5により第1図に示す
方向へ回転させて置いて、刃先イの部分が前記し
た研磨線条3によつて研磨されるように位置付け
し、鋸Aを第1図に矢印で示す方向に進めると、
鋸歯2の刃先イはその歯背ロ側から刃先イ側へ向
かつて研削され、その刃先イの部分を第3図に拡
大して示すように、切削時に材料への食い込みが
生じないよう潰されるため、この鋸1を使つて挽
材すると、食い込みによる刃先イの欠けが生じ
ず、刃先イへは材料の切削粉末が直ぐに溶着して
第3図に示すように構成刃先ハを形成し、切削能

できるから、馴らし運転が不用となつて作業能率
の大幅な増進を可能とする。C.
