ラシホルダ21に固定して所定の回転ブラシとし
たもので、このような回転ブラシはブラシホルダ
21の上部中央に設けた回転駆動用連結部22を
図示されないバリ取り研摩機の回転軸Aに取付け
て研摩作業を行つている。

く製作されており、しかも、各構成線材20はそ
の基端側がブラシホルダ21に固定されて穂先長
さの調節ができない構造となつているため、回転
ブラシにおける各構成線材20が適正な穂先長さ
とされている間は正規の研摩作業が行われている
が、構成線材20が摩耗して穂先長さが短くなる
と加工速度が変化するため使用できなくなり、廃
棄して新しい回転ブラシと交換せねばならない。
また、被処理物品の種類、研磨作業条件等により
穂先長さを短い状態で使用したい場合でも短い穂
先の回転ブラシに交換しない限り前記同様に適切
な研摩作業が行われず、仕上げられた被処理物の
品質が不安定なものとなり、面倒な回転ブラシの
交換をしばしば行わなければならない等の問題点
がある。

ブラシ保持体に保持された状態で回転されて通常
の研摩が行われる。

ついて詳細に説明すれば、1は上壁部2を有する

上壁部2の上面中心位置に図示されないバリ取り
研摩機の垂直の回転主軸Aに着脱可能とされる軸
状の回転駆動用連結部3を設けるとともにブラシ
保持体1の周壁部4に該ブラシ保持体1の軸線方
向に平行な溝等の案内部5が所定の長さとして一
対形成してある。6はブラシ保持体1内にその軸
線方向に摺動自在に取付けられたカツプ形ブラシ
であり、該カツプ形ブラシ6はナイロンなどに
Al2O3、SiCなどの研摩材を含有させて形成した
100〜300mm程度の長尺の線材を構成線材7とし、
各構成線材7の一端を直径が該構成線材7の長さ
より小さい椀形のブラシホルダ8の下面に固定し
て所定密度のブラシ部が構成されている。9はブ
ラシホルダ8に設けたねじ孔で、該ねじ孔9はブ
ラシ保持体1の案内部5に対応する位置に一対と
して設けてあり、このねじ孔9には前記した摺動
自在なカツプ形ブラシ6をブラシ本体1へ位置決
め固定するための調節ねじ10がそれぞれ螺合さ
せてあり、そして調節ねじ10は案内部5に摺動
自在な大きさとしてある。また、ブラシ保持体1
の下面側である開口端側の内面には第3図に示す
ように、カツプ形ブラシ6の構成線材安定用の案
内部材11が固定させてあり、該案内部材11は
所定の幅を有するリング体12の内側より放射状
に適数個の案内板13を張設したものであり、各
構成線材7はそれぞれ各案内板13間にほぼ等分
配置されるようになつている。

所定の強度をもつて従来の回転ブラシと同様にバ

を停止させたのち、調節ねじ10,10をゆるめ
てカツプ形ブラシ6を摺動下降させ、構成線材7

各区画室内を通り所定の穂先長さLとされてブラ
シ保持体1の開口端より突出され、これにより前
記同様に研摩作業時における各構成線材7の穂先
の剛性が安定化されて所定の研摩結果が得られる
が、これらの実施例の外にも案内部材として格子
状リング体や粗目の網状体等を使用してもよい。

るとともに回転ブラシの寿命も高められ、かつ、
回転ブラシの構成線材は長尺とすることもできる
から、摩耗しても順次繰り出して使用でき、従来
のように一旦摩耗したら廃棄するということはな
くて経済的であり、しかも、穂先長さの調節は回
転主軸に取付けたままで簡単で操作できるので手
間がかからず、極めて能率的である等種々の利点
があり、在来のバリ取り研摩機用回転ブラシの問
題点を解決したものとして業界の発展に寄与する
ところ極めて大きい。
