Description
Claims (12)
- 1.磁界発生アッセンブリにおいて、少なくとも2個の同一方向の磁界を発生す る磁界発生装置を有し、前記磁界発生装置は、磁界発生装置の外部の作動領域に 、第1の方向に勾配を有する磁界を生じるように配置され、且つそこにおいて、 少なくとも、第1の方向に対して横方向の2次の変動が実質的に平衡して、前記 領域におかれたサンプルに対してNMR検査を実施できるようになっていること を特徴とする磁界発生アッセンブリ。
- 2.前記磁界発生装置が電気コイルを有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項 に記載のアッセンブリ。
- 3.前記コイルは実質的に同軸でありその軸は第1の方向を向いていることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載のアッセンブリ。
- 4.前記コイルの中心はその軸に沿ってオフセットされていることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第3項に記載のアッセンブリ。
- 5.前記作動領域は実質的に平面であることを特徴とする上記の請求の範囲各項 のいづれかに記載のアッセンブリ。
- 6.前記作動領域は実質的に皿状の形状をしていることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項ないし第4項のいづれかに記載のアッセンブリ。
- 7.前記作動領域に於て第1の方向に対し横方向に於ける磁界の一様性が100 ppmよりも良好であることを特徴とする上記の請求の範囲各項のいづれかに記 載のアッセンブリ。
- 8.第1の方向に対し横方向に於ける磁界に於けるすくなくとも2次および4次 の変動が前記作動領域に於て実質的に平衡していることを特徴とする上記の請求 の範囲各項のいづれかに記載のアッセンブリ。
- 9.上記の請求の範囲各項のいづれかによるアッセンブリ、前記作動領域に於て 無線周波磁界を発生する為の無線周波磁界発生手段、および結果を示す信号の反 響を検出する選出手段を有することを特徴とするNMR検査を行う為の装置。
- 10.更に第1の方向に対し横方向に前記作動領域内の磁界勾配を発生する為の 勾配磁界発生手段を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項に記載の装置。
- 11.各領域内の磁界の強さは領域ごとに異なるところの、実質的に一様な磁界 を各領域内に発生し、実質的に平面あるいは曲面の領域の組み合せを発生するこ と、検査すべき構造をそれが少なくとも一つの一様な領域に交差するように配置 すること、前記構造を前記構造内の核磁気共鳴を励起するためにあらかじめ決め られた周波数帯域の無線周波パルスに曝すこと、および結果を示す信号の反響を 監視することから成ることを特徴とする構造を検査する方法。
- 12.請求の範囲第9項あるいは第10項に記載の装置により正しく実施される 請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。
