Description
Claims (12)
- 1.次のものからなり、次のことを特徴とする生検標本採取装置。 (a)外カニュール 該外カニュールは所定の内径を有し、患者の体内に挿入するための末端と反対側 の基端とを有している。 (b)探針 該探針は前記外カニュールの所定の内径に見合った所定の外径を有しかつ該外カ ニュールの基端を通して該外カニュール内に滑り込む。該探針は外カニュールを 患者の体内に挿入している間に外カニュールの末端を閉じる閉鎖末端を有してい る。該探針は前記外カニュールに着脱自在になっている。 (c)生検作動子 該生検作動子は生検針を有し、該生検針は所定の外径を有し、該生検針は生検標 本を保持する標本保持ノツチを有する末端と、反対側の基端とを有している。 (d)前記外カニュールの基端がそれに固定された第1コネクタ手段を有するこ と。 (e)前記生検針の所定の外径は前記外カニュールの所定の内径に対応し、前記 探針が取り外された後に外カニュールの基端を通して外カニュール内に滑り込む ようになっていること。 (f)前記生検作動子は、前記生検針が前記外カニュール内に延長されたときに 、該外カニュールの前記第1コネクタ手段に着脱自在に連結する第2コネクタ手 段をさらに有していること。 (g)前記生検作動子は、生検されるべき組織を標本保持ノッチ内に落とすよう に前記外カニュールの末端に関して前記生検針の標本保持ノッチをます露出し、 続いて該標本保持ノッチ内に落ちた標本組織を切断するように該標本保持ノッチ を超えて外カニュールの末端を急速に進める作動手段を有していること。
- 2.前記外カニュールの末端が面取りされ、前記探針の末端が同様に面取りされ てカニュールの挿入を容易にしかつ探針が取り除かれた後に標本の切断を容易に することを特徴とした請求項1記載の装置。
- 3.前記生検針は前記生検作動子の前記第2コネクタ手段を貫通していることを 特徴とした請求項1記載の装置。
- 4.前記外カニュールの第1コネクタ手段および前記生検作動子の第2コネクタ 手段が該外カニュールの基端を該生検作動子に着脱自在に取り付ける対応したル アーロック嵌合部であることを特徴とした請求項1記載の装置。
- 5.前記作動手段は前記生検針の標本保持ノッチを露出するように前記第2コネ クタ手段に関して該生検針の末端をまず進める手段を有し、該作動手段は該外カ ニュールの末端が標本保持ノッチを超えて滑るように該生検針の末端に向けて前 記第2コネクタ手段を続いて急速に進めるための手段をさらに有していることを 特徴とした請求項1記載の装置。
- 6.前記作動手段は前記生検針の末端に関して前記第2コネクタ手段をまず後退 させて、該生検針の標本保持ノッチを露出するように該生検針の末端に関して該 外カニュールの末端を後退させる手段を有し、該作動手段は該外カニュールの末 端が標本保持ノッチを超えてすべらせるように前記生検針の末端に向けて前記第 2コネクタ手段を続いて急速に進める手段をさらに有することを特徴とした請求 項1記載の装置。
- 7.前記生検針は前記生検作動子の前記作動手段に永久に固定されていることを 特徴とした請求項1記載の装置。
- 8.次の工程からなり次のことを特徴とする患者の体内から組織の生検標本を採 取する方法。 (a)外カニュールの末端を閉じるように該外カニュールの基端を通して外カニ ュール内に探針を挿入する工程。 (b)探針を装着した外カニュールの末端を生検されるべき目標組織塊に向けな がら該末端を患者の体内に挿入する工程。 (c)前記外カニュールの末端が目標組織塊にほぼ一致した後に、探針を該外カ ニュールから取り外す工程。 (d)前記生検針の末端が前記外カニュールの末端にほぼ一致するまで、生検作 動子から延びる生検針を外カニュールの末端に挿入し、該生検針にその末端にほ ぼ隣接する標本保持ノッチを設けること。 (e)外カニュールの基端を前記生検作動子に連結すること。 (f)前記外カニュールの末端に関して生検針の標本保持ノッチを露出し、続い て該標本保持ノッチを超えて該外カニュールの末端を滑らせて該ノッチに組織標 本を保持すること。 (g)前記外カニュールの基端を生検作動子から外し、該外カニュールを患者の 体内に挿入したままで生検針を外カニュールの基端から引き抜くこと。
- 9.前記外カニュールを患者の体内に一時的に残し、前記特徴事項のうちの少な くとも(d)から(f)までを繰り返すことによって第2の組織標本を得る工程 を有することを特徴とした請求項8記載の方法。
- 10.生検されるべき組織塊に関して外カニュールの末端の正しい位置を確認す るために、前記(b)の後でかつ前記(d)の前に患者の少なくとも1つのCT 走査を得る工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 11.前記生検針内で標本保持ノッチの露出工程は外カニュールの末端を超えて 生検針の先端を進めて標本保持ノッチに隣接した組織をそこに落とすようにする 工程を有し、また、標本保持ノッチを超えて外カニュールの末端を滑らせる工程 が標本ノッチ内に落とされる組織標本を切断することを特徴とした請求項8記載 の方法。
- 12.前記標本保持ノッチに近い組織がそこに落ちるように生検針の末端を固定 したまま、外カニュールの末端を標本保持ノッチに近い点まで後退する工程を有 し、また、標本保持ノッチを超えて外カニュールの末端を滑らせる工程が標本ノ ッチ内に落ちた組織標本を切断することを特徴とした請求項8記載の方法。
