When moving a figure displayed on a display to another location on the same display screen, for example, if you move a picture drawn in a certain area that has multiple rectangular areas of the same size to another area. When moving, if the movement is instantaneous, the movement may be overlooked, or the movement may not be overlooked, but great care must be taken to determine the movement. It was hot. It is also possible to leave the picture drawn in a predetermined area on the display and gradually move the picture to the destination at a speed that can be followed visually while illustrating the movement process. In particular, in inexpensive devices such as personal computers, the image memory area is narrow, and the area shown in the diagram may not be secured, which poses a problem that it is not versatile.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention takes into consideration that when moving a figure, the figure to be moved is moved in multiple steps for each predetermined coordinate range on the memory. By gradually partially erasing or shrinking the moving source picture to indicate that it is being moved, and by gradually restoring the moving source picture to the moving destination, the process of moving the picture can be visualized. In addition to displaying the information in an easy-to-understand format, the process for causing the movement can be easily performed using a device such as the above-mentioned personal computer. Therefore, in the method for moving a display solid according to the present invention, in a method for moving a display figure that displays a process of moving a figure displayed on a display to another area on the display, the figure to be moved is moved to a plurality of areas. This feature is characterized in that, in parallel with sequentially erasing the divided regions, the erased divided regions are restored to the destination.

In the figure, reference numeral 1-1 denotes a screen memory which stores, in the form of images, figures displayed on the screen corresponding to the display screen of the display.
Changes in the drawing image on the screen memory will be described below, but it can be assumed that the same changes will be displayed on the display screen. For explaining the configuration shown in the figure or the first figure,
A to h represent a source picture, a destination picture, or a specific example of a moving process shown in FIG. 1, respectively.

The figure shows the state in which the coordinates where the original picture is located and the coordinates of the destination are set. This is the coordinate P (x 0 , y 0 ) or area number where picture a, the source of the graphical movement, is located on the graphical screen memory 1-1 shown on the right side, and the coordinate Q, where the picture b, the destination of the graphical movement, is located.
This means specifying by inputting (x 0 , y 0 ) or area number etc. from the keyboard. In other words, move an area with the same size as the area where the source picture a is located (64 dots x 32 lines) to the position specified by the destination picture Q (x 0 , y 0 ). It is to ensure that Through the following process, by specifying the coordinates P (x 0 , y 0 ) where picture a is located as the source of the illustrated movement and the coordinates Q (x 0 , y 0 ) of the destination of the illustrated movement,
The process to be described later is automatically performed, and the movement of the picture a, which is the source of the illustrated movement, is gradually moved to the region where the picture is moved, as the destination picture B, is displayed in a visually easy-to-see manner. Here, as shown in the figure, picture a, which is the source of movement, is composed of 64 dots in the horizontal direction and 32 lines in the vertical direction, and will be explained in detail below.

2 in the figure shows a state in which movement is executed line by line, and shows a state in which picture a, the illustrated movement source, is extracted every predetermined line and is moved to area b, the illustrated movement destination. The line-by-line movement is performed in three steps to simplify the explanation: a first group movement process in the figure, a second group movement process in the figure, and a third group movement process in the figure. shown as something.

First, in the first group movement process in the figure, two of the vertical scanning lines shown in the movement source picture a,
The initial value is set to 2, such as lines 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, and 30, and each line is extracted every four lines and moved to the destination area b shown in the figure. The state after the first group movement process is completed is shown in picture c of the movement source in the figure and picture d of the movement destination in the figure, respectively.

In the second group movement process in the figure, 0, 4, 8,
For lines 12, 16, 20, 24, and 28, the initial value is set to 0, and each line is extracted every four lines and moved to the illustrated movement destination area b. The state after the illustrated second group movement process is completed is shown in the illustrated movement source picture e and the illustrated movement destination picture f, respectively.

In the third group movement process in the figure, 1, 3, 5,
...As shown in each line of 29 and 31, the initial value is 1,
Each line is extracted every two lines and moved to the illustrated movement destination area b. The state after the third group movement process is completed is shown in picture g of the movement source in the figure and picture h of the movement destination in the figure, respectively. In this way, by executing the first to third steps, the picture a, which is the illustrated movement source, is moved to the picture h, which is the illustrated movement destination.

As explained above, the movement source picture is sequentially extracted for each predetermined line (pixel row), and the extracted lines are restored to the original picture in synchronization with the movement destination area, and the moving display is performed. Therefore, the movement is displayed in a visually easy-to-understand manner.
