パネルの密閉性が損われるために全く不可能であ
り、非常に融通性が悪いという問題があつた。し
かも中空パネルの両端に圧着部が存在すると、パ
ネルを枠部材の凹溝に安定に嵌め入れることがで
きず、その上開口端部の圧着のさい熱加工歪が生
じて残存するため、パネルの強度が低下し、耐久
性に劣るという問題があつた。

空間部内に充填されたシーリング材によつて中空
パネル本体の左右両側壁の前後両端縁と、端部閉
鎖用テープとの間が塞がれている密閉中空パネル
を要旨としている。

側壁4,5の前後両端縁と、端部閉鎖用テープ8
との間が塞がれているものであるから、温室等の
建設現場において合成樹脂押出型材製の中空パネ
ル本体2を必要な大きさに切断したのち、その場
で中空パネル本体の両端開口部を粘着テープ8と
シーリング材11とによつて非常に簡単な作業で
短時間に密閉することができて、作業性および融
通性にすぐれ、しかも非常に密閉性が良いうえ
に、枠部材14に安定に嵌め込むことができると
いう効果を奏する。
