処理物1の装着は回を重ねるごとに鋼球3の滑り不良や
蒸着材粉の詰まりの度合いが増し、これによって本来簡
単に行われるべき装着が殆ど不可能になり、使用不可能
になってしまう問題がある。そしてその不具合を修理す
るために鋼球3やばね5を取り出そうとした場合に、調
節ねじ6の焼け付きがあって修理が困難であるという問
題もある。このため、上記した鋼球3による固定作用に
よらないで、ボルトを止めねじとして用いた構成のもの
が使用されているのが現状である。これにはボルトの回
転を必要とするので手間がかかる問題がある。従って、
多くの処理物を一つ一つ支持具に支持させ、また取り外
す作業において止めねじを回転させる必要のない支持具
が望まれている。図3に示した支持具が前述のような問
題を生じる原因は、鋼球3が常にばねの押圧力を受けか
つ滑らかに回転することが条件であるのに真空成膜処理
に使用する支持具には潤滑油等の使用ができないこと、
また真空と大気圧とが交代する圧力変化によって蒸着材
粉が隅々に入り込むこと、高温にさらされること等であ
