(Prior art) Conventionally, when molding a synthetic resin molded product with a skin material integrally provided on the surface, for example,
As shown in the publication, a large number of suction holes are provided on the mold surface of the mold, and the suction holes absorb the skin material and hold it on the mold surface, as well as inside the cavity of the mold when the mold is closed. A synthetic resin material is introduced into the surface and molded integrally with the skin material.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-described molding apparatus, so-called blank casting is performed in order to determine the amount of synthetic resin to be supplied as a base material. In other words, before starting production, try molding with the calculated injection amount and test several times to see whether the synthetic resin fills every corner of the cavity and whether burrs appear. is decided.
During this test, if a large amount of synthetic resin is supplied, the synthetic resin may overflow from the mold mating surface in the form of burrs, and this overflowing synthetic resin may enter the suction hole, but in this case, the suction hole may become blocked. Not only will this cause heat build-up, but it may also damage the suction device for generating negative pressure, which is connected to the suction hole.

Then, during molding, as shown in FIG. Then, as shown in FIG. bring it into contact with. At the same time, a negative pressure is generated by the suction device 22, and the skin material 41 is suctioned and held in each suction opening 19, and the skin material 41 is placed on the mold mating surface of the fixed mold 14.
Set the front surface side toward the recess 17 side.
When suction of the skin material 41 to the fixed mold 14 is completed, the suction of the suction pad 38 of the skin material supplying tool 35 is stopped, and the skin material supplying tool 35 separates from the fixed mold 14, rises, and retreats. Next, the movable mold 15 moves forward toward the fixed mold 14, closes the mold via the skin material 41, and stops suction from the suction opening 19 by the suction device 22, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. do. In addition, in this state, the injection cylinder 44 of the molding machine main body moves forward, and as shown in FIG.
An injection cylinder 44 is connected to a, injects thermoplastic synthetic resin 45, and transfers this to the spool 18 and the skin material 4.

In addition, in a dry firing test prior to production, the skin material 4
1 is not used, that is, in the mold closed state without the skin material 41 as shown in FIG. 12, the elastic body 23
The amount of deformation is small due to the absence of the skin material 41, but it is deformed by a predetermined amount b, and the end of the elastic body 23 is pressed against the mold matching surface of the movable mold 15, so that This prevents the synthetic resin 45 from entering.

As described above, during the dry firing test of the synthetic resin 45, the synthetic resin 45 does not enter the suction opening 19, and the fixed mold 14 and the suction device 22, for example, are not damaged by vacuum suction. Further, due to the elastic deformation effect of the elastic body 23, it is possible to reliably cope with the case where skin materials 41 having different thicknesses are used. In addition, when the elastic body 23 comes into contact with the opposing mold surface,
The fixed mold 14 and the movable mold 15 are not damaged.

According to the present invention, a skin material is set on the mold mating surface of a mold, and a synthetic resin material is introduced into the cavity of the mold and molded integrally with the skin material. At this time, the sealing effect caused by the deformation of the elastic body prevents the synthetic resin from entering the suction opening, preventing damage to the vacuum equipment, etc.
Further, due to the elastic deformation effect of the elastic body, it is possible to reliably cope with the use of skin materials of different thicknesses.
